Let me sum this up in three-ish words....
IT WAS AWESOMELY-AMAZING! That had to be the best thing that I have EVER known. The authors, the writers, the amazing special effects... (btw there was TONS of that). The morning Keynote speaker was Jessica Day George, author of Dragon Slippers, Tuesdays at the Tower, and tons of more. After the keynote speaker, we all ran to our classes. Because if we didn't get to our class before it got full, we would have to go to another class. It was literally the best day of my life. (it was even better than Christmas!) When I went to my first class (Map Making 101 by Jill Williamson) I REALLY wanted to scream because I was meeting one of the Go Teen Writers authors. It was the best class EVER. My next class was Villains We Love To Hate. It was very informational and I got tons of ideas for a villain(s). :D My next class (after lunch of course) was Favorite Books and How They Inspire Your Writing. It was really good. Like really. After that class was The Art of Inspiration and Thievery. If I had to say awesome 10 times. I would. Natalie Whipple draws manga, writes books, AND is a great artist. It was amazing! Then, my next class was What the Crap is Voice? I need to get me some of that by Margie Jordan. Man, I could listen to her talk for hours and think of nothing but writing. It was the best. And after that I did I Want to be Published! I learned so much stuff in there that I am no debating whether or not I should do self-publishing or publishing (there is a difference). Everyone in my family (except Charisma) says I should take the self-publishing route. But I'm still thinking about it. Okay, after that everybody came back to the Ballroom and watched these amazing performers do an interpretative dance for Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy. If I could take any dance class, I would go find those performers and tell them I want to be just like them. Because, I am not joking, you wish you could see it THOUSANDS of times. It was WAAAYY better than EPIC. After Brandon Sanderson's Keynote, it was the First Chapter Contest winners. I had entered and I expected to win to be one of the ten runner ups... but nope. I didn't win. It was sad... But that encourages me more to do better next year! :3 And at the very beginning of TABC, they showed a video called 'I'm Reading A Book'... IT WAS HILARIOUS! Here you go! :D
hehehe... I love that. :3 SO after that, it was the TEEN AUTHOR BOOT CAMP AUTHOR BOOK SIGNING! I jumped up and ran to Jill Williamson's booth and asked her to sign my TABC tee-shirt (because I wasn't wearing it). She signed it, and, after I said thank you, ran to the rest of the authors asking them to do the same thing. GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!
THANK YOU TEEN AUTHOR BOOT CAMP FOR EXISTING!

TOMORROW IS TEEN AUTHOR BOOT CAMP... WHAT DO I DO?! I mean... I'm prepared and all... but... it just feels as if that I'm so UNprepared and so SCARED. (hehe... that's because I AM scared.)
I am meeting a ton of authors that write for teenagers and I'm pretty sure that I haven't read any of their books. (Jessica Day George is going to be there and I haven't read ANY of her books... HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!) -_- I feel so terrible... Oh well, I've got to get over it and be myself tomorrow. Because tomorrow is a big day for me (and everyone else in my family, because they're going to.) Wish me luck!
I've only got 6 more days! Yeah... I really need to stop stressing myself out. I've got my outfit planned, I've got my schedule in check, I know what I going to bring to entertain myself while me and my family drive to TABC and I'm SUPER EXCITED.
(I say 'super excited' in every TABC Count-Down... Don't I?) But anywho... Today is a day that I must tell you EARTH SHATTERING NEWS... I will only be posting Nex Gen Justice League once a week now, not twice. The reason I'm doing this is because I have WAAAYYY to much on my hands to handle at this current moment in time. But when summer rolls around, I will be very very very happy to start doing it twice again. :3
Yes I know.. Only seven days left! How is that even possible?
But I still really excited. I've got everything I need too. (Except tons of books that I need authors to sign... I'll get that quickly. :3) :D I'll do a TABC Count-Down on Monday because I'm not including Sunday in the Count-down. (BTW, Charisma and I are turning 13 tomorrow! So excited!) Thanks!
*GASP*
The tension is rising, the day is coming closer, my outfit is still not pre-HEY! I know what I'm going to where for TABC! Yes...! I FINALLY KNOW! Wow... I can't believe that I only had 8 days left till TABC and I finally thought of it... That was super bad on my part. Okay, anyway, as you all know, not only have I finished picking out my writing schedule, I have been saving up for a tablet (which the deal ends in 10 days). It's hard saving up, but I'm doing it! If your new to Nex Gen Justice League, here is Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. This is from Batgirl's point-of-view, new perspective... Right? Me and my team had left to Gotham City finding nothing suspision there. What could possible be happening? "Girls, scout out the area in teams of two and search of any types of trouble and report back here in two hours," I said and left with Fate's grand-daughter, Destiny. Destiny and I took East street to see everything perfectly in order. Nothing was causing chaos. "Hey Batgirl," Destiny suddenly said. "Hmm?" I asked, her voice sounded worried. "Where is everyone? All the windows are closed and there's no one on the street," she replied. I looked around and she was right. No living thing was anywhere, but us. We're friends with the Geno-morphs so they couldn't be doing any of this. But, who could? "Call the others immediately... We shouldn't have split up!" I cried. While Destiny called the other team members, I looked at my watch seeing that two hours had already passed. But how is that possible, we've only take 30 steps from our meeting area and we've only been talking for two minutes if that. "Batgirl, none of them are answering," Destiny said. "Should we go looking for them?" "I'm not sure..." I answered back. Could the Clock King's nephew be up to this or is a much bigger threat at hand? Wait till Monday to get your answer! :3 Thanks and please comment!
I can't believe we only have 9 days left till TABC. It's crazy! And Camp NaNoWriMo already started, questions are still being asked on the TABC site. I've pretty much ready to go other than packing clothing. I've got my writing supplies and my writing schedule (with my writer's outfit). :3 I'm stocking up on writing quotes and I'm still trying to get that tablet! (It goes away in eleven days. D:)
But anywho, I still an't wait for TABC! I'm watching a ton of Star Wars to get me hyper and excited (THANK YOU GEORGE LUCAS). And I've been finding very pretty journals that I could use for writing.
Pretty right? I love both of them, but I think I like the left one a bit more... Just a bit. But so far that's my day!
Tomorrow, I will be posting the Nex Gen Justice League (NGJL) along with the count-down. Somewhere this week, I will be posting character bio summaries and maybe interviews. And go check out Go Teen Writers! Thanks!
Only two more weeks till TABC guys! I'm so excited!
-_- I still don't have my outfit plan... I just need one more thing.... But ANYWHO. Today is the NEW BOOK sneak-peak! Are you guys ready?
Okay, so my book is about the moon. I chose the moon because it's so mystical and you can do so much with it. I have three main characters. McKenna, May, and McKenna's mother. Awesome right? I even have the title! I would tell you more, but I want to leave it as a surprise. Sorry!
But what I can tell you is that I entered this book for the First Chapter Contest for TABC! And this was actually the book that my mother said that I had the imagination of George Lucas for. (George Lucas is George Lucas... He's name is pure awesomeness.) So yeah! Thanks everybody for reading! I'm really excited for TABC! Almost 19 days left... Man, only a day flew-bye and now I feel like TAB is right around the corner. THIS ISN'T SUPPOSE TO BE HAPPENING! I don't even have the shirt that I want to wear here yet (I actually haven't bought it yet, but I'm hoping that someone else will... ;3). I think I have all the supplies that I need. I've got my two stories (Ebinicah James; and the NEW BOOK), I've got my inspiration in check, I've chosen all my classes, I'm ready to start hugging authors if it comes to that, and I'm ready to smile and go in to FULL 'Writers Mode'.
I am SO EXCITED TO MEET TONS OF AUTHORS! I wish I Tyler Whitesides was doing it this year. :'( Oh well, maybe he'll do it next year! :3 I'm so excited to meet Jill Williamson (one of the bloggers from Go Teen Writers)! I'm going to be attending her 'Map Making 101' class and I'm SUPER excited! ;D I've just got to keep my cool when meeting all these amazing authors. Ugh, I don't think I'll be able to though. Okie Dokie, I'm thinking about doing Camp NaNoWriMo, the Spring Session. Because I need inspiration help and other fellow soon-to-be-author writers to encourage me, while I encourage them. Honestly, I've NEVER EVER had a writer friend. I'm mean, I have three (Charisma, a friend on Ravelry and a guy in real life). The guy in real life, I haven't seen him much anymore, Charisma is the best but she's my writer sister, and I haven't gone onto Ravelry for a few weeks now. :'( So really, I just don't. And I think this is a great opportunity for me to get the NEW BOOK rolling. ;3 So I guess that's it for today guys. See you Monday and wish me luck! (Because on Monday I've got State Assessments and I'm really scared for them...) Okay, all of you know that I'm going to Teen Author Boot Camp and all that great and jazzy stuff..., right? Okay, good. So my mom said, 'Please help Bianca not to be so stressed." She didn't say anything in perticular, but I have a strange feeling that she meant Teen Author Boot Camp. Because, lately, I've been asking Charisma, "What should I wear?", "Should my hair be up or down?", "Do you think I should by some Oxfords and wear them?" and I have a TON more questions I was asking her. I would like to make a good impression! And by the way, in case you haven't noticed, I really don't care about how I look, if my hair should be up or down, or what type of shoes I should wear. I HAVE NEVER CARED... Until now. For me, I think I should be worrying about this because there are going to be Published Authors... AND AGENTS! -_- It would be embarrassing if I tripped or something... *sigh* Sometimes I think I'm going to be a major flip-up when something exciting happens; and honestly, I feel as if I've wanted this my whole entire life. When I was younger, I could fib. I could lie straight out and no one would know it (well, I could now, but no one would trust me. And trust is something that must get earned), but I would like to be able for people to trust me with their secrets and all. Also when I was younger, I would write terrible stories everywhere. I started one in Kindergarten, when first grade rolled around I started writing stories on the computer (I've been homeschooled all my life), and ever since then, I just write. I gave up writing for a time till two years ago, when someone gave me the site 'Go Teen Writers'. Then, a little piece of me, that had grown so small, maybe as small as a salt grain, jumped out to me and said, "You've read great stories, you've been transported to Narnia, the Wizarding World, and even London. You wanted to be able to bring that magic to others, so why give up now?" I opened up to that small piece of me, and let it grow into something so big, that's pretty much all I can think about. I think about writing, I write about writing, I talk about writing, I dream about writing, I do everything with writing now. Writing has become my inspiration, my dream. And instead of dreaming about writing, I decided to get to work. Right then and there. I built a world full of animals, I had made over 20 characters that live inside of me, I have made a civilization, magic and a giant school. I did that all because I got serious about my dream, and I wanted to take it to new heights. So, I went to other writer blogs. Such as this great one and this cool one too! So, as you can see, writing has been a life long dream from the start. That is why I'm freaking out about Teen Author Boot Camp. And now, I need help for nail art ideas! Here are a ton of them from Cutepolish.
Aren't they all so cute?! Especially Pooh! Pooh is so cute! Which one is YOUR favorite? Tell me in the comments!
Thanks and please comment! (P.S. I will be starting the Fan-Fiction Story soon, so keep your eyes peeled!) WARNING! Okay people, this is going to be the longest post I have EVER MADE for Coming Soon: Book and there will be a lot of accessories and just outfits/inspiration quotes. SO BEWARE ALL YE THAT READETH! Anywhoo, here is the post! Hey Everybody! So as you can see on my title heading. I'm going to be talking about Accessories and Writing Quotes! But first I've decided to do the writing quotes. These quotes that you are about to see are beautiful! SO here they are! Literally people, READ THE WHOLE THING. And if you didn't read all of them... GO BACK AND READ THEM ALL. THEY ARE INSPIRATION QUOTES, ENJOY THEM. Anywhoo. Weren't they amazing? I love them all. X3 #InspirationQuotesRock I am indeed going to Teen Author Boot Camp, unless something bad happens (which I'm praying won't). So I'm thinking that I want to wear this kind of outfit. And I'm thinking about having my hair up too. It would look super adorable. Anyway, with that outfit, I wanted some type of necklace to go with it. And this is what my research has lead me too.... ETSY! What a wonderful place that is. So I searched there and I found some great stuff. But FIRST, I want to show you these amazing cute outfits that I saw. Adorable right? So now for the Etsy stuff. Click on the images to go to the site. Super cute, yes I know. But I can only pick like two to buy, because some of them cost around 15 dollars NOT including shipping and tax. So that's that. And I'm going to have a hard time picking because there's around thirty of them hanging around in my favorites... X3
Tell me in the comments what your favorite outfit is and necklace! |
