Hello Twisters! (Like the name? I wanted you all to have have a name, because "everyone" sounded a bit too weird. ;P) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has created an Advent Calendar for the Christmas Season. They created this calendar so that, leading up to Christmas Day, people could do acts of service of do some of the things that Christ did. I discovered this Advent Calendar this past Sunday, as my bishop introduced it to all those that were in the congregation. I was very excited to start participating, because I love the thought of serving. Service was always something that I really enjoyed. I found it very fun and I could do it with the people that I loved. So when this opportunity came, I new exactly what my first act of service was going to be: Share it with all of you! Light the World
I was so inspired by this video, it almost made me cry. (I didn't want to cry in my seminary class... so I tried to hold back the tears. ;3) When I saw this video, I wanted to do everything in my power to serve those around me, but I knew that I couldn't serve everyone in the entire world (because that was my inital feeling). Writing this blog post on this was the least I could do, and I really wanted you all to 1) take part in this lovely act of daily service and 2) know that Bianca and I were still alive. #LIGHTtheWORLD Advent Calendar In church, they passed out a piece of paper that had all the days printed on it (it came with the Sunday program). I looked over it, and all of the service days are beautiful, amazing, and can be done within a decent amount of time! (Because they know that we are all busy people... sighs) But usually when doing acts of service, time goes by at a decent rate, not too fast, but not too slow, so I think it works out wonderfully. :) And what's so amazing about the acts of service is that technology can be used to help spread the word! If you want to be a part of this wonderful service opportunity, go start serving! But, if you want to let your friends know, use the hashtag #LIGHTtheWORLD. :3 I hope you take this chance to serve those around you and be as Christ was: a light to the world. Matthew 5:14 - 16 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Let's start the Christmas season with a whole lot of service, joy, happiness and love!

To begin this post, I must, must, MUST do this.
I am hilarious and I deserve a applause (just kidding... Well, I am hilarious, but you don't have to give me an applause. :D). Okay, NOW I can begin. Yesterday, Star Wars officially came out in to US. I am bouncing happy. Like super happy. I mean come on! WHO DOESN'T LOVE STAR WARS? (If you love Star Trek more, I get that. You're cool.) All the characters are so original, BB-8 is just do cute that is is humanly unbelievable, AND there's a new villain (who doesn't love a good villain to scream at?). I am so excited to see it! (I've been pumped up for this movie for such a long time and I didn't see it on its release date.... That is really funny. :D) My mom said that we could watch it as our Christmas movie. As a family tradition would tell, we would always watch a brand-new movie (usually Narnia) at the movie theater but since Narnia has paused (meaning that the kids have to grow up) we would watch other movies. But I don't think we did this tradition last year. Google made this really cool website for Star Wars and it was amazing (click here to check it out!). Well, I've got to go and clean up, but I promise, I'll do a post next week! See ya! ~Bianca A few days ago I realized that I haven't been posting much on the blog (Don't worry, I'm alive. If I wasn't, how would I be doing this post? Just things to think about.), which made me really sad because I had/have a lot to talk about! That's why I decided to do a post today.
As you all know, it's officially December. Winter doesn't begin until the 21st (Okay, how does that make sense? When it gets to December--in the United States--it gets COLD. Like really cold! So should winter officially begin on the 1st? I said it before, I'll say it again: Just things to think about.) but PFFT, who cares (duh, I do...)? I have a high B in Math (for those people who don't have letter grades for school, I have a 88.7%). Although I have a high B (88.7%), I am very disappointed that I don't have, at least, a 90%. I guess I'll have to make do with the grade. I'm finished with LAC for the whole semester (*sings* I got it done really early, early, early.... Oh yeah, it's my birthday--NOT--my birthday! YEAH!) and History (kind-of, sort-of. I have to do a poster or brochure thing-y for it, BUT OTHER THAN THAT....). And math is getting really hard and I'm starting to dislike it... Like dislike-dislike-dislike it. >:( Hmm... What else should I talk about? OH YES. (If you're wondering, yes, I am still obsessing over Japan. :D) I found this lady (whose YouTube Channel called: How To COOK That) and she is really fun. She makes these outrageous (if you've seen Jem and the Holograms show, you would understand that joke) sweets. She's made a Giant Snickers Bar, a Giant Kit-Kat, a Instagram Cake and TONS more! Oooh! I find another web-comic! I usually read Battle-Dog and The Awkward Zombie (love 'em!) BUT Battle-Dog hasn't updated in such a long time (yet the creators are like "Oh! The Battle-Dog Charms are on sale NOW! Come get 'em!". IF YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR COMIC UPDATE!!!), which has made me sad and angry. You know, the usual emotions you feel when something you've been waiting for hasn't continued. The new web-comic is called Shadowbinders (main characters names are Crimson Rhen and Mia.... I OTP--One True Pair--or shipping them. :3 sshhhuuuussshhhh don't tell) and Awkward Yeti. Best. Web-Comics. Ever. As you all know (if you don't know, that's fine. :3), a long time ago (like 3 or 4 years ago) me and my sister watched an anime called "Princess Tutu". It was literally the best show ever (tied with ALL those other anime shows) and my older sister (the one who we watched it with) said that we get to re-watch it during Christmas Break (but my mother said that we could start watching "Once Upon A Time" with her during Christmas Break... CHOICES). I used to like this game called MapleStory, I still like it (and I still want to play it), and I re-found the MapleStory blog that I used to follow! The blog is called the Orange Mushroom (such a cute name!) and, currently, the six Heroes of Maple have come together to protect humanity once more! GAAAHHHH! Just writing it makes me happy! :D Of course I'm still listening to music, I just thought that I probably shouldn't post any because Charisma would be doing that (*wink*). OH YEAH! I just watched the new Star Wars trailer (I know, I know, what's wrong with me) and I absolutely ADORE it! Well, I guess that's it everyone! Tell me in the comments if you want more 'Let's Just Talk' posts, cause if you do then give me a few weeks and I'll have 'em! Thanks everybody! (And hey, if I made any grammar issues, tell me in the comments and I'll fix them...) Bianca The Sun is shining the grass is brown and the air is freezing. So today, as you can see in the title, I've been burning pop-tarts, I'm going to boast (or brag, which ever you like the most) about my Christmas presents, and I'm going to be talking about the new Girl of the Year (GOTY) from American Girl! First, the burning of the pop-tart... Yup! I killed a pop-tart today that was suppose to go in my tummy. I wanted the pop-tart to be a LOT hotter than 30 seconds in the microwave would've done, so I put it on 1:00 minute. And then the inside of the pop-tart spilled out in the microwave and it turned black. BLACK PEOPLE, BLACK! And when I opened up the microwave, it was FULL of smoke. Just smoke. It was terrible. So, I rushed around trying to get the smoke out. I opened the back door, turned on the microwave fan on high, grabbed a towel and started fanning the smell out the back door. It took a LOT of effort, like a ton. So now, all I can smell is burnt pop-tart. It was so sad.... Next, my Christmas Presents... I'm going to be talking about my Christmas presents! I got a ton, so I'll just tell you my four favorite presents and the present that Santa got me (yes, I do believe).
When Charisma and I saw that we got THE Legend of Zelda game, we freaked out. It was the BEST THING EVER. And Santa got Charisma and I a vanity! :D And Lastly, the new American Girl: Girl of the Year doll, Grace Thomas! (Click on one of the images above to go the the American Girl Store, each picture has the same link)
2015 not only brought us a new year, it got us a new American Girl of the Year too! Meet Grace Thomas everyone! I feel as if she's different than your normal GOTY (Girl of the Year) What do you think about her? Well, that's it guys (so far). Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca Hey Everybody! Today is Friday and that means 6 more days till Christmas! I'm freaking out but so excited all at the same time! Here's today's picture. Who doesn't love Pooh? I couldn't resist.

Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca Hey Everybody! So sorry this is late, but Charisma and I are doing 12 days of Christmas! But, since we started late, it's going to run over to the 27th. Oopsie. Anyways, today's the first day of the Disney Christmas countdown and that means we shall be posting Disney related images every day. Isn't she so cute and adorable? Happy first day of the Disney Christmas Countdown!
Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca Hey Everybody! It's Bianca! Today is the last day of rest BEFORE my play tomorrow. I'm freaking out on the inside, trying to get better on the outside and making sure I get this post out today! :D But other than the play, I've been doing good, getting MUCH better than I was like three days ago... Blurrghhh... -_- But ANYWHOOOOOOOO, I FINISHED OUR Winter BUTTON! Instead of it just being a picture, when someone puts it on their blog, if you click on it, it'll go straight to our blog! I'm SO HAPPY AND EXCITED! So yup! Thanks! Please comment and wish me luck!
~Bianca Hey Everybody!
Today is my final Play rehearsal for the Nutcracker play and I'm actually freaking out. I feel much better than I did two days ago but I'm still scared. Wish me luck! Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca |
