School, for me anyway, starts August 17th. Unbelievable right? We've had 3-ish months of summer and, to be honest, I am so glad to be going back to school. I've missed it really badly. Why did I miss it? Because I wanted to be busy, I wanted to keep myself occupied and when someone gives you no chose but to occupy yourself, I find it very encouraging (especially if I want to do it!). The best part about school is that I'm taking mostly 10th-grade classes. Biology, Geometry, Honors English, Art in World Cultures (ELECTIVE), HOPE (this is P.E.), Civics (Charisma and I could've taken this in 8th grade but my parents didn't want us too), and Digital Literacy (it's required. Trust me, I tried to get out of it....). :D I'm going to be so busy! :D
My Japanese is going well, although I would like better sources for vocabulary and grammar (those are the two things I'm currently working on). Or maybe, I don't know, a teacher? As some of you might know, it's my goal to take a college course for Japanese at my local community college while in 10th grade. That is why I must get all A's on my report card. I'm an over-achiever when it comes to school. If I don't get an A or a B, I will be absolutely shattered, but I would still tell my parents that I got a low score, because they'll either help me, remind me of my goal, tell me to get help from a teacher if I'm really struggling with a certain concept, and a whole lot more. I'm digitally editing a character that I drew! And let me tell you, *laughs*, I don't have anything fancy. No SAI, no Wacom Cintiq or Intuos, no Photoshop. Nada. Zilch. Nothing. All I've got is my handy-dandy, scanner, Paint (which is already installed on every computer), and my imagination. And truthfully, I am terrified. This is the scariest experience of my artist life. (I have several lives: Writer's Life, Artist's Life, Blogger's Life, Over-Achiever's Life, Crocheter's Life, Reader's Life, OTAKU's Life, Family Person's Life, and Outstanding-Amazing Friend's Life. I have nine lives unless someone can see more of my lives that I can't see... One might say I have nine lives. :D) Since I've never done this before (and since I have ZERO LAYERS. I didn't know what layers did before, but now I know that layers ARE A BLESSING!!! Do not take those beauties for granted!) I'm watching my sister (who is digital editing too) while she gives me tips, and I'm re-doing everything for the Umpteenth time. Though, I will survive. I read a variety of good books this summer (don't worry, I'm gonna do some Book Reviews before school starts) and now I have found my favorite Female author: Katy Towell. I love her so much, that reading the two books she published were satisfaction for a week. Her books are all the scary, friendship, terrifying-suspenseful moments I could ever want in a book! :D Her website is called Skary and, I believe, she's working on another book (oh am I excited!). I've had one for a while know but, I'm finally on Miiverse! I've put several posts from my gaming experiences on Demo's and full games, although they're all from Nintendo. I've posted some Style Savvy: Trendsetters and Fashion Forward, some Pokemon X and some other games as well. I'm trying to earn the money to buy some games (Animal Crossing: New Leaf is NEXT on my list. Unless someone convinces me otherwise), yet that's taking a whole lot longer than anticipated. So yup! This is life. I hope all of you have a great rest of summer break!

みなさん、こんにちは! Life, people. I love it. I have NEVER had such a fun/happy/crazy summer like this one. And let me tell you, I have literally done NOTHING to laugh. I just laughed at everything. Music, pictures, animes, cartoons, food, I don't know how I do it, I just love to laugh.
Schools starts August 17th for me and Charisma. I am so steamed. I wanted school to start on August 15th and then I totally forgot about this 'stagger start' thing. Ugh. When I want school people, I want school. But, now that I think about it, I'm actually quite thankful. I can get ahead in Science (the subject that doesn't love me and I don't love it) and so that way I can better understand the content that I'm being taught and then I can get an A! :3 I'm ready school (except I don't have my planner just yet....). My Japanese is going good. I'm trying to find a teacher on the site called iTalki, I have the teacher (is she a tutor?) that I want to study with but a one hour session cost 9 dollars. I'm not worried about the nine dollars part, I'm just worried that my mother won't let me use iTalki. Capital Kings, an American pop, electronic and Christian pop group, released an album called (II) last year in October and I absolutely love this album. My favorite song so far has to be Northern Sky, then it would have to be Live For The Drop. I haven't been writing lately, that's the reason I haven't updated My Writing Journey in quite some time. I'm thinking about editing Another Imagination soon, I just don't know how I'm going to print it... Why is that still a problem for me? Surprisingly, I have NOT read much of anything this summer. I've read some Pokemon manga, but that's it. Well, now I've got something to do. I need to go see what books I can get at the library... Well that's pretty much it! Every time summer rolls around I feel like doing absolutely nothing. Which is bad because I want to learn Japanese, I have a blog to keep updated (which reminds me, I recently watched X-Men: Apocalypse several days ago and did a movie review about), and I work for a lady from my church. Ugh, it's terrible. I got my school report card! I have all A's and one B (thankfully, this B is in Science, not math). Like I've been telling you all, if I get most to all A's in 9th grade, I will be able to take a college course of Japanese in 10th grade. Eeeh~! I'm so excited. My Japanese is going very well. I'm proud of my progress and I am planning on taking the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N5 next year (2017), but I have to run it through my parents first. Although, it's going to be tough because the JLPT only does it once a year (not twice like in Japan and some other countries) and it's ONLY on the first Sunday of December. That's going to be a big problem for my family. (Kemushi-chan/Loretta did a video about the JLPT) I haven't done any writing at all lately. I'm thinking about doing some this week or some time next week. I just want to write. I want to edit Another Imagination, but it's like 48 pages and no one is willing to print it for me. I've got to find some way to print up those pages, that way I can print and edit that fantastic book. Honestly, I don't remember much about the book, so it's going to be a lot of fun re-reading a book I wrote. :3 Oh! Me and my family decided to start watching Once Upon A Time. Let me tell you. This show is greatly terrible. The only reason I say terrible is because this show is way messed up. But I love it none the less. One of us should have a show review for it soon. Well, that's it for today, thanks for reading! You read right. We're going to audition to be a part of High School Musical 4. And, boy, am I excited. And nervous. And really happy. Okay, I'm have a lot of feelings towards this, but hey, I'm gonna give it my best go and I'm going to love EVERY MINUTE. And if you didn't know that they're doing auditions, you should go do it (btw, you need to be around 14 - 17, have the Disney Applause app, find a song that fits your vocal chords--only do a verse and the chorus--, and practice the script. More info about auditioning here). I've always wanted to be a part of Disney, it would amazing if Charisma and I were part of the cast. :3 School's going really good. I've got a A's in everything but science (I've got a low B which I need to start getting a high B.... because bad things are going to happen if I don't). I'm trying to get done with school around May 18th, which, if I do, would be GREAT. The only thing I'm having trouble with is my Geography assignment. I have to plan a dream vacation. Sounds easy, right? Well, I still think it's kind-of easy, but I've been hitting some bumps. I've got to plan this vacation down to the slightest detail and that's going to be really hard (mean finding pictures of certain places, I have to record the weather, the average precipitation, etc.). And my maximum budget is 10,000 dollars and the minimum I have to spend is 8,000 (keep in mind I can't go over budget, 5% can be spent for gifts/souvenirs and 10% can be used for food, while the rest must be used for hotel, airline tickets, car rental, etc.). You get the idea. I'm still having my major writings block (wanting to write something, but avoids writing at all times, you can read my small post at My Writing Journey). Although, early this week I was able to write a small bit for a new story. That made me really happy. I'm actually really surprised that I wanted to write this blog post, because I've been wanting to do it for a long time now. Learning Japanese Yup! I'm still at it. I've master hiragana, I'm working on katakana (although I need some more index cards... -_-) and I'm working on kanji (slowly, but I'm getting there).

Once again, you must travel back in time to yesterday (that's the only way this post will make sense) and as you finish remember that no one can travel back in time (WELLLL, technically, that's no true because you have your memories and memories are your gate way to the past. So, you know, if you look at it that way....). Hello! Tomorrow, yes tomorrow, will be the beginning of 2016. Janurary will begin, school will start the second semester, a lot of exciting shows and movies will be coming out, people will be wishing that the holidays weren't over, and it's going to be the year of the presidential election. 2016. Wow. Put it like that and 2016 sounds scary (except for the show/movies part). I don't want to bore you with why I put the 'presidential election' thing-a-ma-gig-er up there, but this years wanna-be presidents don't thrill me. At all. And I don't like politics much so I guess that could be a reason why too. I'll try not to think of 2016 very much (how can I not think of 2016?!!???! It's literally tomorrow!!!). Charisma and I have started our Marvel movie watching! Meaning we've only seen Hulk (2003 version), Iron Man (you know, the one with Robert Downey Junior? The very first one?), and Thor (the one and only Chris Hemsworth is in it). Our next movie is Captain America with the dreamy Chris Evans. Eeep! I am so excited! :D Charisma and I have been working on collaborative stories together for a good while (none of them seem to be going, if you know what I mean) and I've been wanting to make this RPG board game for quite some time (maybe something like Dungeons and Dragons?). But the question that's been stopping me from making the game (all you need is rules, character classes and a pair of dice.... Right?) is should I make it into a book before I make it into a game (I have made some characters that I really want people to enjoy and have fun reading, but would it be cooler that the characters I made were mentors and went on journeys with the RPG-er's?) or should I make the game first and incorporate that into a book? Yup, I know. C-O-N-F-U-S-I-N-G. I don't even have a name yet.... Oh well! I'll think of one (sooner or later).
Does anyone have their New Year's Resolution written down yet? I don't (because I usually write it down at night time). Well, I must be off! I'm a late little bunny and I have things to do. ~Bianca A few days ago I realized that I haven't been posting much on the blog (Don't worry, I'm alive. If I wasn't, how would I be doing this post? As you all know, it's officially December. Winter doesn't begin until the 21st (Okay, how does that make sense? When it gets to December--in the United States--it gets COLD. Like really cold! So should winter officially begin on the 1st? I said it before, I'll say it again: Just things to think about.) but PFFT, who cares (duh, I do...)? I have a high B in Math (for those people who don't have letter grades for school, I have a 88.7%). Although I have a high B (88.7%), I am very disappointed that I don't have, at least, a 90%. I guess I'll have to make do with the grade. I'm finished with LAC for the whole semester (*sings* I got it done really early, early, early.... Oh yeah, it's my birthday--NOT--my birthday! YEAH!) and History (kind-of, sort-of. I have to do a poster or brochure thing-y for it, BUT OTHER THAN THAT....). And math is getting really hard and I'm starting to dislike it... Like dislike-dislike-dislike it. >:( Hmm... What else should I talk about? OH YES. (If you're wondering, yes, I am still obsessing over Japan. :D) I found this lady (whose YouTube Channel called: How To COOK That) and she is really fun. She makes these outrageous (if you've seen Jem and the Holograms show, you would understand that joke) sweets. She's made a Giant Snickers Bar, a Giant Kit-Kat, a Instagram Cake and TONS more! Oooh! I find another web-comic! I usually read Battle-Dog and The Awkward Zombie (love 'em!) BUT Battle-Dog hasn't updated in such a long time (yet the creators are like "Oh! The Battle-Dog Charms are on sale NOW! Come get 'em!". IF YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR COMIC UPDATE!!!), which has made me sad and angry. You know, the usual emotions you feel when something you've been waiting for hasn't continued. The new web-comic is called Shadowbinders (main characters names are Crimson Rhen and Mia.... I OTP--One True Pair--or shipping them. :3 sshhhuuuussshhhh don't tell) and Awkward Yeti. Best. Web-Comics. Ever. As you all know (if you don't know, that's fine. :3), a long time ago (like 3 or 4 years ago) me and my sister watched an anime called "Princess Tutu". It was literally the best show ever (tied with ALL those other anime shows) and my older sister (the one who we watched it with) said that we get to re-watch it during Christmas Break (but my mother said that we could start watching "Once Upon A Time" with her during Christmas Break... CHOICES). I used to like this game called MapleStory, I still like it (and I still want to play it), and I re-found the MapleStory blog that I used to follow! The blog is called the Orange Mushroom (such a cute name!) and, currently, the six Heroes of Maple have come together to protect humanity once more! GAAAHHHH! Just writing it makes me happy! :D Of course I'm still listening to music, I just thought that I probably shouldn't post any because Charisma would be doing that (*wink*). OH YEAH! I just watched the new Star Wars trailer (I know, I know, what's wrong with me) and I absolutely ADORE it! Well, I guess that's it everyone! What Kind Of Writer Are You? I... I really have no idea. I get really attached to my character (both evil and good) and I want them all to live (unless the evil guy is supposed to die... well, that's another story :P). I want my character to have the hardest time he or she has ever had. And they do all these stubborn things to try to make it better, but it gets worse (because making your character suffer is kinda fun). Then, it's super cool when I get to see my characters develop into those awesome people I wanted them to be at the very beginning (but they thought it would be cool to let the readers see how they journeyed from horrible to dream-worthy). When Did You Start Writing? What Made You Want To Try It? I don't really remember when I started writing. I mean, I've written for school, so that's probably what started in my head or just reading all those cool books and I went like, " I want to write like that!" I really don't know. I'M SORRY!!! Anyways, what made me start writing was either this quote: "If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write is." - Toni Morrison Or it was Bianca. Bianca's been one of the best people I've ever known in my life (you know, 'cause she's my twin), but she's the one who's pushed me through hard times, encouraged me to draw (which I'm going to show you all my drawings one day soon), and has shoved me to write for who know's how long. :3 Thanks Bianca... What Inspires Your Stories? I'm with Alexa on this one. Everything. I just look around and see some cool aspect of life, or I'm looking at an awesome picture that I suddenly get inspired to write a book about it. What usually inspires me on a daily basis, though, is music. I imagine this awesome scene that plays in my head like a movie, then I want to make that movie into a book (so that some director or producer reads it then wants to make an awesome movie on it :P ). What Themes Do You Like To Explore In Your Writing? *Ahem* (If I'm understanding the question correctly..) I really like the love triangle situation (it's hilarious how everybody is so shy and what-not), I love the Fantasy Anthropomorphic theme; it's so imaginative! And I like Fairy-tale remakes. It's so interesting what people do to change to story, but still keep the original story visible. Are You A Pantser, A Plotter, or A Bit Of Both? I'm a bit of both. I pants my first part of the story (because I'm usually writing new stories in the Creative Writing class I go to), then once I've figured it out a bit, I write down what the plot is supposed to be, what the story genre is, the title, and some movie and books that I want it to be like. That gives me a clear idea of what the story I'm supposed to be writing is when I get around to writing them. :D Where Are You At In Your Writing Journey? Querying? Agenting? Published? For all of my books, I'm still in drafting. Yup, I haven't gotten very far. But that's okay! It doesn't really bother me. I entered in the First Chapter contest that Teen Author Boot Camp has, but I didn't final or win. But it was super fun! I'm still writing that story and I like where it's going. Who Are Your Writer Heroes? The only ones that keep popping up in my head is Bianca and Sarah Prineas. I've never met Sarah Prineas in real life, but her books impacted my life so much, so I've got to thank her for that. Have You Ever Been To A Writing Conference? Share Your Best and Worse Experiences. If Teen Author Boot Camp is a writing conference, then yes. I have been to one. Best experience was the whole thing. TABC does NOT disappoint! Worst thing was when this author asked me where I lived, I answered, he said my name, then I got so confused. -_- That isn't horrible, but that's the worst thing I got for you all. I didn't trip on an author (for those people who have, I'M DEEPLY SORRY!). I haven't done anything strange that would creep an author out. I haven't done any of those things. And I'm quite happy. Top 3 Tips You’d Give To Newbie Writers: Tip #1: Don't hold back. Ever. You all have a creative mind ready to be put to use. If you block one thing, you'll probably give yourself Writer's Block pretty fast. Tip #2: Write what you want to read. Aren't you writing that book because you wanted to read it? Tip #3: Express yourself through your writing. It doesn't have to be for writing a book. This could be for writing some school paper or just free-writing because you're pretending to take notes in some school class (why does everybody seem to target Algebra?). You need to write what you feel is you. It could be a book like Twilight (which I haven't read, and probably won't) with Harry Potter mixed in! That's what you like. That's why you wrote it. I had/created a story idea on Thursday when doing a Creative Writing class, all I needed to do was create a sort of jacket summary and start writing it! This is my story: The Shard Race: Sapphire Shard - Book 1 26 Competitors - 7 Will Win In the land of Elefthria, the last of the Griffin race is gathered to compete in the Shard Race, a long and hard set of challenges where a shard of a rare jewel is given to the winner. However, the Shard Race is no friendly challenge. Each Griffin puts their life at risk, but death is the smallest consequence they could receive. Karthik, one of the last Anthropomorphic Griffins, has to complete the Shard Race whether he likes it or not. Getting a shard is every Anthropomorphic's desire, but this race has something even better in store for the contestants than that. The 7 winners will be taken under the wing of the New Council, the leaders of Elefthria. As the Shard Race begins, Karthik's excitement turns to horror as he realizes there may be a darker purpose for the Shard Race. One that everyone else is blind to. (c) All rights reserved. Charisma (I realize that not everyone celebrates Halloween, and I respect that, so I've decided not to have a Halloween picture.) Hello everyone! I must apologize for not posting last week. We got a punishment for procrastinating two lessons of school and our consequences was that we couldn't do anything other than school and chores for the whole entire week. Again really sorry! A LOT has happened since the last time I wrote a blog post, so this may or may not be a long post. Just expect the unexpected. :p The question is where to begin? Hmm... let's see. Well, Charisma and I have become obsessed with this Youtuber called Parker_Games. He is a Minecraft player and he is so funny and makes my day every time I watch one of his videos. Do you want to see one? Isn't he hilarious? :D We watch his videos at least every day. If not that, we make sure he's updating his Twitter. OH! There is only 2 days, 5 hours, 36 min, and 39 seconds 'till NaNoWriMo. I AM SO EXCITED! So expect a TON of posts in My Writing Journey... If not, I'm writing. Teen Author Boot Camp has their 2016 TABC information up! I am SO happy. The keynote speakers are Margaret Peterson Haddix (Among the Hidden, Found) and Dan Wells (Partials). The sad part about all this happy is that.... I'm not sure if we're going or not. School's still going to be in and TABC raised their prices. I know they have to accommodate to the unexpected growth of teens and I value that they are trying to make everything better for the teens, it's just that I might not be able to save up that much (*laughs* I've already paid it all off except 10 bucks....). Charisma and I will be changing our schedule (again) because it's becoming a little bit to hectic for us, posting everyday. Once we have our OFFICIAL schedule (I'm not sure when that's going to be) we'll update. But for now, I think we'll be posting when we have the time too. I haven't written in my story in a long time, although I am prepared to start writing for NaNoWriMo (if you want to what I'm writing, click here). I STILL HAVE ALL 'A's IN MY SCHOOL! It is literally the BEST thing ever and I am so thankful. I was thinking the other day that all of you don't really know me. SO I decided to tell you a little bit about me as a person. I'm religious. I know to some people, it would make them feel uncomfortable and I don't want you to feel that way, that is why I don't post religious things. I enjoy going to church and attending youth activities, it's another way to express myself. If you give me fifteen minutes to wake up. I will wake up (if you shake me really hard... if you don't, I'm Sleeping Beauty... 'till 10). For REAL. I know how to do karate... No, I don't know how to do karate at ALL. If a yellow belt came up to me and said, "Fight," I would laugh and then run. I'm an emotional person. Like really emotional. There is this movie called 'Gravity' and I cried during the movie and I was still crying when I went to sleep. That was 2-3ish hours. That's a long time. I even cried to this (cause it's sad).
If you cried to that, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. If you didn't, I applaud you. You are very, very, VERY brave. I really want to play the game now. But I don't want to be MORE depressed.
Hmm... What else about me... I want to make people happy. If I find out they're sad for ANY reason at all, I will immediately contact them and strike a conversation to make them happy. Being sad is a terrible thing. And I don't like bullying. I think that's it. But I will open myself more to all of you. It's the last day of September, everyone! Can you believe that? This month was so exhilarating (I got to find out who the 2016 keynote speakers are going to be for Teen Author Boot Camp... Ya wanna know?). In school, I have good grades (I have an A in everything. And if you think about it, we only have 8 more months of school...) and blogging has been going fantastically (we've had 993 views in ONE day!). I don't know about you, but September was a great month. I've been finding new animes to watch (like Pripara! Oh my goodness, I can't wait to watch it...), trying to find a reliable source to find out Japanese culture (if you want to learn a language... Learn the culture!), and I'm stocking up on my Spanish (my mother said if I wanted to learn Japanese during the next school year, then we had to keep up with our Spanish. I still love Spanish. :3). Oh! And I'm trying to get ready for NaNoWriMo! It's NaNo Prep season, so I gotta be prepping myself. ;D *SIGH* Life is full of blessings if you take the time to look for them.
