Coding: The Art of Technology

:3  "Anything to everything is basically an art.  You just have to treat it that way." - Charisma (me!)

Well, Bianca and I just got an amazing account at Codecademy.  Their mission is really amazing and they've paired up with a lot of people.  (Scroll down to they very bottom and their 'About' page is under 'Company'.)

Codecademy is a very helpful site where people learn to code.  They break down everything so it's easy to process, you get every concept and they give you a demonstration of how they do it.  It's so amazing!
(That's the closest I could find to technology.)

Technology is the future right now.  That's where we are evolving to.  Trying to stop this growth would be super hard.  I, personally, would love to a way both technology and nature can exist harmoniously together (like over there is Japan).  If we can find a way to balance them out, then the world would probably be a better place (hopefully).

Anyways, coding is a beautiful way to put technology to good use.  You can use coding to program websites, create gif's, create HTML's and CSS, you can do almost anything with coding!  It's fabulous!  :3

Dancing: The Art of Movement #1

9/25/2015

Sorry I haven't been posting a lot in here.  I don't really know why though.  I think I'm going to stop the Disney Weekly Affirmations.  If there is an affirmation that inspires me, then I'll include it in that day's post.

Well, I've always thought that dancing was a beautiful form of art.  This specific type of art is basically about the flow of movement (to me).  It's like the body, mind and soul are combined into an effortless form of expression, therefore, making an art that people feel the joy and self-pride of the dancer. - Charisma (<---- Awesome right?  I thought of that on the spot.  :3)  For some it's free-styling, some is choreographing and practicing, while for others it's studying for a long time and mastering all of their techniques.

I'm a free-styler, but I want to choreograph a dance with Bianca.

Do you all know the geisha?  (I'm going to use the Wikipedia definition.)  Geisha are traditional Japanese female entertainers who act as hostesses and whose skills include preforming various Japanese arts such as classical music, dance, and games and conversation.

According to a video on Discovery Education, all girls who want to be geisha have to train for around 7 years.  That is such a long time.  And that is amazing dedication.  Amazing.

Here's some music that I thought would be really great for dancing!  :3
For Dance Like Nobody's Watching by the awesome Family Force 5. This song can be a free-style dance song, but it can also be choreographed.  I really like this song because:

1.  It's super crazy!  :D

2.  The chorus is amazingly up-beat!  I like good up-beat songs.  To me, they are the best!  :P

Time by Hans Zimmer is an amazing song, but this remix is amazing!  You might've seen seen this in Twisted Two under Powerful Songs(? I'm not sure what I called the post).  But if someone could do a choreographed dance to this, then that would be amazing!  :D

So great!  :P

And these songs (there are multiple songs in this video) I really like.  They seem traditional to me, but I don't know what traditional Japanese music is.

Most of this music is really relaxing and I super like this.  And the picture that is displaying the video is very pretty.  I love that picture.  :)
Dancing is one of the coolest ways to express art.  It's a very beautiful, inspiring, nice, and takes a lot of creativity.  I admire everyone who takes the time to dance.  For fun or for inspiration or for whatever awesome purpose for why people dance.

Thank you all for dancing and continue to dance!

Tell me in the comments if you love to dance!  And if you do, what's your favorite song to dance to?
