One of the many things that I love in this world is calligraphy.  The way the movement of the pen, the pressure you put on the pen, and the way the ink just flows onto the paper is so enchanting.  I, myself, have never done calligraphy writing before, but my older sister has.  I think she's great at it, but she believes she could do sooooo much better.  I do agree, there is room for improvement, but NEVER EVER get beat down just because you think everything needs to be perfect the first time.  Nothing is ever perfect the first time around, but the farther you get into it, the better you become.  That's just how it is.

Remember the last post where I said that there were a few other people that I got to see, but I wasn't going to introduce them at that time?  Well, here's another one of those amazing people!  (Go check out the blog post where she was featured:  5 Reasons Why Every Creative Should Have an Instagram)

This person I'm going to introduce today is Suzanne Cunningham, a calligrapher.  Instagram:  suzcunningham

Suzanne Cunningham instantly caught my attention when I saw one of her pictures.  It was so elegant and gracefully done that I thought it was printed!  I didn't think someone had written that by hand.  It was absolutely mind-blowing!

Anyways, as I continued to follow her, I saw that here and there, she said these inspirational things about Christ and God.  I love to find people who also believe in God and Christ and it's even better when they use their talents to praise Them.  :)

Recently, she's been writing the complete alphabet in her style of calligraphy.  I love how helpful that is!  I would follow her, but I don't have a calligraphy pen that I could use and I also don't know how to do calligraphy with a pencil.  But you all should do it!  I know you'll all do fabulously!  :3

Being creative and unique is just a fancier way of saying "Just Be You"....
So...

What inspires you?

The ability to inspire and help other create is the ultimate goal that I strive for.
Helping others find out what their artistic ability helps me better understand the choices of creativity that are out there in the world.
