Typography is the art of putting words into print. Most of the words that are put into print are quite inspirational and (hopefully) uplifts the person viewing it. I've never really known that this existed. It's super cool that someone can print words onto a canvas and have it impact someone on a daily basis (because if you buy one, you're probably going to put it in a place where you can constantly see it). This is going to be the last post for introducing amazing people that I (half) follow on Instagram. I sadly don't (half) follow another other creative amazing people on Instagram. I wish I did though.... (Want to go check out the the blog post where she is featured? Go to: 5 Reasons Why Every Creative Should Have an Instagram) Today, I have the lovely pleasure of introducing Lotus Stewart, an typographer. Instagram: girlfridaypaper Lotus Stewart is the first typographer that I've ever seen, and wow. What she does is some pretty epic, inspirational, and beautiful quotes. Each one is featured in a different font, and that makes the quote/saying all the better. Fonts really sets the visual aspect of any type of word. And when you finally read what the font says, it'll blow you away how perfect the font fits that quote. But what shocked me most is how on a mostly blank canvas or paper, those black (or other color) words really pop out and off of the canvas/paper. It truly is amazing. As I followed her, Lotus Stewart really has no limit to inspiring. All of her quotes are either funny, inspiring or French/about Paris. ;3 Who doesn't like Paris? Paris is great. :D I love seeing what inspirational quote she puts on canvas/paper when I go to check her Instagram page. We all have our own unique way of inspiring ourselves and others... So... What inspires you?

Photography. A beautiful talent that, when used right, can transport the viewer into a whole other world. The world that the photography was viewing. I love having that feeling of transportation and exhilaration when viewing photographer's work. Some people capture the world in its most beautiful state, creating a feeling a peace and sometimes joy. While other photographer's capture the world in its saddest state, so that people can be aware that life isn't always a fairy-tale or a masterpiece. In the last few posts, I've been introducing people that I just so happen to (half) follow on Instagram. (What I mean by "half" follow is that I don't have an Instagram account, so I just look at their pages. I can't really click the follow button, 'cause like I said in the last sentence: Me - Account = No Instagram.) Anyways, here's another wonderful person! (Go check out the post where Yu Film was featured: 5 Reasons Why Every Creative Should Have an Instagram) Today, I'd like to introduce Yu Film, who is a lovely photographer: Instagram: yu_film Yu Film is such an amazing photographer. Yu Film is that person who captures the world at its most glorious peak and she does it splendidly. Each picture tells their own unique story. Their bright and enchanting! What's not to love about that? And best of all, sometimes Yu Film's little girl poses is the pictures. It gives a sense of cheerfulness and cuteness to the picture. :) Though, one little thing. Yu Film is Japanese. So everything that Yu Film does is written in Japanese. That's sad because I would love to see what description was given for each picture. But that adds to the whole "what does this picture mean to you and what story do you think it tells?" aspect of it. ;3 Being creative is a process and a journey. You need to be ready to face everything with a positive spirit and face them head on, you'll find a lot of inspiration that way... So... What inspires you? One of the many things that I love in this world is calligraphy. The way the movement of the pen, the pressure you put on the pen, and the way the ink just flows onto the paper is so enchanting. I, myself, have never done calligraphy writing before, but my older sister has. I think she's great at it, but she believes she could do sooooo much better. I do agree, there is room for improvement, but NEVER EVER get beat down just because you think everything needs to be perfect the first time. Nothing is ever perfect the first time around, but the farther you get into it, the better you become. That's just how it is. Remember the last post where I said that there were a few other people that I got to see, but I wasn't going to introduce them at that time? Well, here's another one of those amazing people! (Go check out the blog post where she was featured: 5 Reasons Why Every Creative Should Have an Instagram) This person I'm going to introduce today is Suzanne Cunningham, a calligrapher. Instagram: suzcunningham Suzanne Cunningham instantly caught my attention when I saw one of her pictures. It was so elegant and gracefully done that I thought it was printed! I didn't think someone had written that by hand. It was absolutely mind-blowing! Anyways, as I continued to follow her, I saw that here and there, she said these inspirational things about Christ and God. I love to find people who also believe in God and Christ and it's even better when they use their talents to praise Them. :) Recently, she's been writing the complete alphabet in her style of calligraphy. I love how helpful that is! I would follow her, but I don't have a calligraphy pen that I could use and I also don't know how to do calligraphy with a pencil. But you all should do it! I know you'll all do fabulously! :3 Being creative and unique is just a fancier way of saying "Just Be You".... So... What inspires you? I love to paint. I don't do it often and I don't think I'm good at it, but I still love it. How is that even possible? Well, though I know I'm not the greatest at painting, I admire other people who are spectacular at the skilled art. They know how to deliver every single stroke to make a masterpiece and they know how to take what they see onto paper or a canvas. Those people inspire me so much that I want to paint like them too. Though I know that I won't ever paint like them, it doesn't discourage me. I know that every artists in this whole entire world has a different way to portray their artwork. That's one of the reasons that I don't get let down, I have a unique way to portray my artwork and though it might not be through painting, it's still fun to try. On one particular day, I was reading this blog post on 5 Reasons Why Every Creative Should Have an Instagram. This topic had captured me from the title, so I went on to read it. Later near the end of the post, I discovered this list of creatives that have an Instagram account. I saw one name that particularly intrigued me, so I clicked on her name (along with a few others, but they're for a later time). Today, I'd like to introduce Julia Barminova, a beautiful watercolor painter. Instagram: juliabarminova Julia Barminova does such beautiful paintings that her work inspires me to do my best with my art. That's how the cycle of inspiration works for me. I see one artists that I know they're doing their best with and I try to have that same conviction and love put into my art. Julia does everything with such care and detail, it actually looks like your looking at the real thing. But her artwork is still so unique. You see her style of her artwork. You also get to see the world around you and her with her paintings. It's beautiful how the process of inspiration works. Now what's difficult about the inspiration process it to not get envious. Envy will lead you no where. Use what you've seen to build up stamina and creativity for you to start your own version of the world around you. Use your unique talent to let your unique version of artwork shine through. There's absolutely nothing you can't accomplish in this world. We all have the ability to be our own unique person... So... What inspires you? |
