We're learning Japanese! I know, I know, it's a big surprise, but we're doing it! ALTHOUGH, we aren't doing it through school. We're doing it old-school style (a.k.a. that means we're doing it through different websites).

Our mother said that if we got REALLY good grades in our freshmen year (which is 9th grade. I'm still not use to the whole sophomore, junior thing....) then we can go to our community college and take Japanese there!! In 10th grade!! So that is my goal. To get really good grades in my freshen year to get Japanese (and go to college.. hehe!) in my sophomore year. Oh I am so excited! :D Can anyone recommend any good Japanese books that I should buy (or look into buying?) Well everyone, have a good day!

I guess by now everyone is wondering why we don't post everyday. The reason why is because we're either doing school, reading, listening to music, or checking out cool blogs. And now, I am ready to present some of the blogs we just love to look at!
I'm sure I've missed plenty of blogs, but that's all I can remember at this current moment in time. I hope all of you enjoyed looking/reading about all the blogs that me and my sister love and we hope that you enjoy them too! What blogs do you like? Come on and tell us in the comments! Also, I asked my mother my mother if she would mind if Charisma and I did giveaway's in the future and she said that she wouldn't mind if we did that. So keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway. Once again, you must travel back in time to yesterday (that's the only way this post will make sense) and as you finish remember that no one can travel back in time (WELLLL, technically, that's no true because you have your memories and memories are your gate way to the past. So, you know, if you look at it that way....). Hello! Tomorrow, yes tomorrow, will be the beginning of 2016. Janurary will begin, school will start the second semester, a lot of exciting shows and movies will be coming out, people will be wishing that the holidays weren't over, and it's going to be the year of the presidential election. 2016. Wow. Put it like that and 2016 sounds scary (except for the show/movies part). I don't want to bore you with why I put the 'presidential election' thing-a-ma-gig-er up there, but this years wanna-be presidents don't thrill me. At all. And I don't like politics much so I guess that could be a reason why too. I'll try not to think of 2016 very much (how can I not think of 2016?!!???! It's literally tomorrow!!!). Charisma and I have started our Marvel movie watching! Meaning we've only seen Hulk (2003 version), Iron Man (you know, the one with Robert Downey Junior? The very first one?), and Thor (the one and only Chris Hemsworth is in it). Our next movie is Captain America with the dreamy Chris Evans. Eeep! I am so excited! :D Charisma and I have been working on collaborative stories together for a good while (none of them seem to be going, if you know what I mean) and I've been wanting to make this RPG board game for quite some time (maybe something like Dungeons and Dragons?). But the question that's been stopping me from making the game (all you need is rules, character classes and a pair of dice.... Right?) is should I make it into a book before I make it into a game (I have made some characters that I really want people to enjoy and have fun reading, but would it be cooler that the characters I made were mentors and went on journeys with the RPG-er's?) or should I make the game first and incorporate that into a book? Yup, I know. C-O-N-F-U-S-I-N-G. I don't even have a name yet.... Oh well! I'll think of one (sooner or later).

Her, loving all of them, but they didn't have this one aspect that she wanted was distressed. Then I asked her if I could try my hand at it, hoping that my creativity could spark up some good cover. She also created a cover from her own imagination and it looks great! She loved my cover, her cover and the other 3, but she doesn't know which one to use for her story. What Kind Of Writer Are You? I... I really have no idea. I get really attached to my character (both evil and good) and I want them all to live (unless the evil guy is supposed to die... well, that's another story :P). I want my character to have the hardest time he or she has ever had. And they do all these stubborn things to try to make it better, but it gets worse (because making your character suffer is kinda fun). Then, it's super cool when I get to see my characters develop into those awesome people I wanted them to be at the very beginning (but they thought it would be cool to let the readers see how they journeyed from horrible to dream-worthy). When Did You Start Writing? What Made You Want To Try It? I don't really remember when I started writing. I mean, I've written for school, so that's probably what started in my head or just reading all those cool books and I went like, " I want to write like that!" I really don't know. I'M SORRY!!! Anyways, what made me start writing was either this quote: "If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write is." - Toni Morrison Or it was Bianca. Bianca's been one of the best people I've ever known in my life (you know, 'cause she's my twin), but she's the one who's pushed me through hard times, encouraged me to draw (which I'm going to show you all my drawings one day soon), and has shoved me to write for who know's how long. :3 Thanks Bianca... What Inspires Your Stories? I'm with Alexa on this one. Everything. I just look around and see some cool aspect of life, or I'm looking at an awesome picture that I suddenly get inspired to write a book about it. What usually inspires me on a daily basis, though, is music. I imagine this awesome scene that plays in my head like a movie, then I want to make that movie into a book (so that some director or producer reads it then wants to make an awesome movie on it :P ). What Themes Do You Like To Explore In Your Writing? *Ahem* (If I'm understanding the question correctly..) I really like the love triangle situation (it's hilarious how everybody is so shy and what-not), I love the Fantasy Anthropomorphic theme; it's so imaginative! And I like Fairy-tale remakes. It's so interesting what people do to change to story, but still keep the original story visible. Are You A Pantser, A Plotter, or A Bit Of Both? I'm a bit of both. I pants my first part of the story (because I'm usually writing new stories in the Creative Writing class I go to), then once I've figured it out a bit, I write down what the plot is supposed to be, what the story genre is, the title, and some movie and books that I want it to be like. That gives me a clear idea of what the story I'm supposed to be writing is when I get around to writing them. :D Where Are You At In Your Writing Journey? Querying? Agenting? Published? For all of my books, I'm still in drafting. Yup, I haven't gotten very far. But that's okay! It doesn't really bother me. And when someone says that they're in their Editing stage, that just pushes me to get farther with my story(/stories). Have You Ever Entered Any Writing Contests? Finaled? Won? I entered in the First Chapter contest that Teen Author Boot Camp has, but I didn't final or win. But it was super fun! I'm still writing that story and I like where it's going. Who Are Your Writer Heroes? The only ones that keep popping up in my head is Bianca and Sarah Prineas. I've never met Sarah Prineas in real life, but her books impacted my life so much, so I've got to thank her for that. Have You Ever Been To A Writing Conference? Share Your Best and Worse Experiences. If Teen Author Boot Camp is a writing conference, then yes. I have been to one. Best experience was the whole thing. TABC does NOT disappoint! Worst thing was when this author asked me where I lived, I answered, he said my name, then I got so confused. -_- That isn't horrible, but that's the worst thing I got for you all. I didn't trip on an author (for those people who have, I'M DEEPLY SORRY!). I haven't done anything strange that would creep an author out. I haven't done any of those things. And I'm quite happy. Top 3 Tips You’d Give To Newbie Writers: Tip #1: Don't hold back. Ever. You all have a creative mind ready to be put to use. If you block one thing, you'll probably give yourself Writer's Block pretty fast. Tip #2: Write what you want to read. Aren't you writing that book because you wanted to read it? Tip #3: Express yourself through your writing. It doesn't have to be for writing a book. This could be for writing some school paper or just free-writing because you're pretending to take notes in some school class (why does everybody seem to target Algebra?). You need to write what you feel is you. It could be a book like Twilight (which I haven't read, and probably won't) with Harry Potter mixed in! That's what you like. That's why you wrote it. Well, because I only know one person who would do it because she has some time on her hands, I'm going to tag Kirsten! Bianca and I really wanted to do this because we're watching movies and shows almost everyday and we want to give the world our input on these movies and shows. Some are so great, while others... I want to burn and bury in a really deep hole that is 1 cm away from the earth's core. -_- #2: Game Reviews! This is because Bianca and I can't play Minecraft (at the moment because we don't have an account). We are going to do reviews on PC downloadable games, games that require a console (like a PS2 or something), and games you can get for free that you don't download on the PC. Do you want these reviews? Tell us in the comments! :) So this year, I joined the Young Writers Program NaNoWriMo. I was so hyped and ready to go! I had/created a story idea on Thursday when doing a Creative Writing class, all I needed to do was create a sort of jacket summary and start writing it! This is my story: The Shard Race: Sapphire Shard - Book 1 26 Competitors - 7 Will Win In the land of Elefthria, the last of the Griffin race is gathered to compete in the Shard Race, a long and hard set of challenges where a shard of a rare jewel is given to the winner. However, the Shard Race is no friendly challenge. Each Griffin puts their life at risk, but death is the smallest consequence they could receive. Karthik, one of the last Anthropomorphic Griffins, has to complete the Shard Race whether he likes it or not. Getting a shard is every Anthropomorphic's desire, but this race has something even better in store for the contestants than that. The 7 winners will be taken under the wing of the New Council, the leaders of Elefthria. As the Shard Race begins, Karthik's excitement turns to horror as he realizes there may be a darker purpose for the Shard Race. One that everyone else is blind to. (c) All rights reserved. Charisma Okay, this post was meant for YESTERDAY, but I didn't get around to posting it. So use your imagination and pretend it's yesterday.... Until reality hits you saying 'You can't travel back in time...'.
It's the last day of September, everyone! Can you believe that? This month was so exhilarating (I got to find out who the 2016 keynote speakers are going to be for Teen Author Boot Camp... Ya wanna know?). In school, I have good grades (I have an A in everything. And if you think about it, we only have 8 more months of school...) and blogging has been going fantastically (we've had 993 views in ONE day!). I don't know about you, but September was a great month. I've been finding new animes to watch (like Pripara! Oh my goodness, I can't wait to watch it...), trying to find a reliable source to find out Japanese culture (if you want to learn a language... Learn the culture!), and I'm stocking up on my Spanish (my mother said if I wanted to learn Japanese during the next school year, then we had to keep up with our Spanish. I still love Spanish. :3). Oh! And I'm trying to get ready for NaNoWriMo! It's NaNo Prep season, so I gotta be prepping myself. ;D *SIGH* Life is full of blessings if you take the time to look for them. So (with my understanding) this is going to be her first YA novel. I'm so excited to read it! The cover is just gorgeous, the font is unbelievable and the dress and shoes are really pretty (but the back of the dress could be less... revealing). Yeah, that's the exciting news. :3 So! I haven't seen any of the Transformers movies, but I've seen some Transformers show like the lovely Transformers: Prime. Megatron is actually super diabolical. He is usually a step ahead of the Autobots, he commands all of the Decepticons, he has a space bridge, he has almost everything. Yet he can never defeat Optimus Prime. :3 My favorite book villain is actually a group of villains. They are called the Cloak Society from the book the Cloak Society by Jeremy Kraatz. Now these villains. They are always a few yards away from the good guys. They plan out every little detail and step. Every one. They calculate every outcome and they know how the heroes are going to play when it's their turn. They are the perfect definition of villain. Do you have a favorite food, and what is it? I don't have a favorite food. I like almost everything. So if you had to choose one element (fire, water, air, or earth), which one would you choose and why? This is so hard! I've been thinking about this answer ever since I've watched the Avatar: The Last Airbender show. It's a tie between water and earth. For water, there is the ability to heal and create ice, but earth... the ability in bending both earth and metal! That's just super cool. I'm just going to pick both. :3 If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Well, I like places with mountains, and the awesome change of all the seasons.. so maybe Japan. ;3 Who is your favorite supporting character (movies, TV, or books)? I'm going to say Benet from The Magic Thief by Sarah Prineas. <--- She is one of my absolute favorite authors! :D What is one interesting or weird quirk about you? I'm not sure what... oh! The Cloak Society has wonderful lessons that I couldn't begin to describe the amazingness of. The Cloak Society has ruined and my life... It's one of my favorite books that I have to own. Okay, so the Cloak Society trilogy didn't really ruin my life, but it's over. I finished all 3 books. I want more though! It was a very happy ending, but... You know those books that have great endings and you totally love it, it's just that you're craving more awesomeness? Yeah, I'm there. -_- Not the greatest way to feel. I am very happy for Mr. Kraatz for writing this book. It's absolutely wonderful! :D I totally give it 5 stars! :3 I recommend this book to everyone 13 and older. I've listened to this soundtrack three times now and I am literally on the verge of crying every single time. It's so beautiful and moving. And the movie.... Let's just say I will never forget it. Here's the music.
I've got to give credit to Steve Jablonsky. He keeps on outdoing himself. The only movie I have actually watched with his music is Ender's Game, but I've listened to the Transformers Soundtrack and it is... Magnificent. It's just so amazing. (Thank you Orson Scott Card for writing the book!)
