Yesterday, I was looking at one of my favorite blogs: Tricia Mingerink - The Pen of a Ready Writer She's super awesome! :D She got tagged in this Infinity Dreams Award and she left it as an open tag so that anyone could do it with the same questions. I thought it would be cool if I participated in it and tagged some people at the end. :3 Also, here is Tricia doing this awesome award:
http://triciamingerink.com/2015/09/01/getting-caught-up-and-infinity-dreams-blog-tag/ Rules: -Thank the person who nominated you. -Answer their 11 questions -Nominate 11 other bloggers and ask them 11 questions. Questions: Who is your favorite villain (either the one whom most love to hate or the one whom you actually cheer for)? I'll do movie/show and book. My favorite movie/show villain has to be Megatron. I haven't seen any of the Transformers movies, but I've seen some Transformers show like the lovely Transformers: Prime. Megatron is actually super diabolical. He is usually a step ahead of the Autobots, he commands all of the Decepticons, he has a space bridge, he has almost everything. Yet he can never defeat Optimus Prime. :3 My favorite book villain is actually a group of villains. They are called the Cloak Society from the book the Cloak Society by Jeremy Kraatz. Now these villains. They are always a few yards away from the good guys. They plan out every little detail and step. Every one. They calculate every outcome and they know how the heroes are going to play when it's their turn. They are the perfect definition of villain. Do you have a favorite food, and what is it? I don't have a favorite food. I like almost everything. So if you had to choose one element (fire, water, air, or earth), which one would you choose and why? This is so hard! I've been thinking about this answer ever since I've watched the Avatar: The Last Airbender show. It's a tie between water and earth. For water, there is the ability to heal and create ice, but earth... the ability in bending both earth and metal! That's just super cool. I'm just going to pick both. :3 If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Well, I like places with mountains, and the awesome change of all the seasons.. so maybe Japan. ;3 Who is your favorite supporting character (movies, TV, or books)? I'm going to say Benet from The Magic Thief by Sarah Prineas. <--- She is one of my absolute favorite authors! :D What is one interesting or weird quirk about you? I'm not sure what... oh! So I have these crazy obsession things. Bianca finds something awesome about.. lets just say Legend of Zelda. Then, I go searching for awesome pictures and music on all things Legend of Zelda. We talk about LoZ for a LONG time, and when something new comes along - like Transformers - I start to obsess over that. Yup. What is your favorite topic to learn about? It depends on the school year. Right now, I super love Science and Literary Analysis and Composition. I think all of you write, so who is your favorite character that you have created? O.O I don't know.... I'm going to say Todd. He's just super awesome. He's that amazing guy who's super determined and will complete that task even if he's injured (which is so stubborn, but sweet). If you could bring one person from the past to the present, whom would you bring? Abraham Lincoln, probably. You can jump into any one fictional world. Which one would you choose? The world across the Way in the Winterling series by Sarah Prineas. What is your favorite drink? Chick-fil-a Lemonade (with the yummy chunky chocolate chip cookies). Yeah! :D Now for tagging people: Bri at The World of the Writer Kirsten at PoohLoversUnite Alexa at Summer Snowflakes Ana at Butterflies of the Imagination Annie at Curious Wren Emily at the Hero Singer Yup! Those are the lovely people I'm tagging. :D Here are the questions: 1. What's your absolute favorite book currently? 2. If you could hang out with 2 character from any movie, show and/or book, who would they be? 3. What's your favorite season? 4. If you could pick one character to portray you in the movie of your life, who would that 1 person be? (You can pick from any movie, book and show.) 5. What's your favorite type of flower? 6. What's your favorite instrument? 7. What is your favorite genre? 8. Pick one character from any movie, show or book, and pick a candy to describe them. What candy would they be? 9. What's your favorite movie? 10. What's your favorite OTP pair? 11. What's your favorite song? Thank so much! Please comment about your favorite author! Charisma

The Cloak Society is a trilogy by Jeremy Kraatz.
The Cloak Society has wonderful lessons that I couldn't begin to describe the amazingness of. The Cloak Society has ruined and my life... It's one of my favorite books that I have to own. Okay, so the Cloak Society trilogy didn't really ruin my life, but it's over. I finished all 3 books. I want more though! It was a very happy ending, but... You know those books that have great endings and you totally love it, it's just that you're craving more awesomeness? Yeah, I'm there. -_- Not the greatest way to feel. I am very happy for Mr. Kraatz for writing this book. It's absolutely wonderful! :D I totally give it 5 stars! :3 I recommend this book to everyone 13 and older. What books are you totally in love with? Tell me in the comments! :D Charisma Unfortunately, I have to make this really quick...
But SCHOOL IS COMING. It is coming SO fast, it's only two days away.... TWO! Are you ready? BIANCA (BTW, we got our library card!)
I've listened to this soundtrack three times now and I am literally on the verge of crying every single time. It's so beautiful and moving. And the movie.... Let's just say I will never forget it. Here's the music.
I've got to give credit to Steve Jablonsky. He keeps on outdoing himself. The only movie I have actually watched with his music is Ender's Game, but I've listened to the Transformers Soundtrack and it is... Magnificent. It's just so amazing. (Thank you Orson Scott Card for writing the book!)
Hope you enjoy the soundtrack! Tell me in the comments if you liked it.
WE GET TO PARTY LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!
Hehehe.... just kidding. You've got way more responsibilities when you're thirteen. And trust me, I may sound SUPER crazy, but it's really fun. Anywhooo, since we are 13, we can watch PG-13 movies! YAY! But, the first PG-13 movie that we wanted to watch wasn't available... It was Enders Game, which we really, really want to watch! :3 Our mother says it's a really good movie, and that makes us even more excited. And after that movie, we want to watch the Avenger movies, like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Avengers, etc. We can finally watch the 3rd Harry Potter movie (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban). We can also start are slow and heavy ascent to reading Teen/Young Adult books (I want to read the Princess books by Jessica Day George first...). :3 I also can't wait to get a library card! I really want one, but I have no idea when I'm going to get that or if I'm going to get it when I'm 16. It's a huge possibility that we get one when we are 16... But hey! We can try and get it when we're 13 or 14! Also, with the summer weather coming, we can safely say that we are ready for a new layout! But the one we wanted wasn't our favorite, so we are trying to pick another one. We'll tell you when we are going to change! :3 Tell us in the comments what you are ready to do this summer!
I absolutely LOVED TABC!!!!! I had the best time meeting all those authors and taking notes on those amazing classes! --> Head over to My Writing Journey by Bianca so you can see what classes she took!
I hope that we can go next year!!! I can't wait to find out which Keynote speakers are going to be there next year!! This year it was Brandon Sanderson and Jessica Day George! :D They both are so awesome!!! I also plan to do Camp NaNoWriMo! <-- Click on Camp NaNoWriMo to get you to the site... If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are all these white words. If you look, the first word on the top line is "About". Click on that to find out more on Camp NaNoWriMo. I hope I can do Camp NaNoWriMo, and if not this month, then I want to do it in June (it says that at the "About" page)! Are you excited for anything? Tell us in the comments!
There are millions and millions of amazing books out there, making your already long list of "Oh My Goodness, I Need To Read This Book" even longer. Then when summer rolls around, and your local library is doing the "Summer Reading Challenge", you have the chance to get some books off of your list. But, when you've completed the Summer Reading Challenge, you look down at your list and find out that you only took off a fourth of the list. Flabbergasted, you quickly rush to the library with your library card in your pocket (or you go with your mom or dad who have a library card) and check-out all the books that you can manage to find that are at the library. You rush home and start reading. You read all the books that you got, and you're about to go to the library to get some more books when your parents remind you that school starts tomorrow. You rush over to the calendar to make sure, and it's right there in bright blue marker ink: School Starts.
Then, you're in the middle of school one day, and your friends introduce you to a new book series. You go look at it on Amazon (or where ever you go and search for books) and find out that this series has more than 5 books. You grab out your long list of books names and your write down ALL of the book names that are in the series. A few days later, the same process happens, but this time, there are more than 12 books in that series (is there a books series that has more than 12 books? I don't know of any...) and you quickly go write all the names down. After a few more process of that, you find out that your list has more books than what it used to have before you started the "Summer Reading Challenge" that summer. This has/hasn't happened to me. Has: Lot of friends suggest these awesome looking/sounding books to me, and my imaginary list of books that I need to read keeps getting longer. Hasn't: I haven't read books off of my list for the "Summer Reading Challenge" and I find out how many books there are in the series as I read the books. I have an imaginary book list (though I should write them down), and the books I want to read are sometimes how-to guides (I like those books). I haven't rushed to the library and get all the books that I have wanted to read that the library has available. If they don't have the book(s) I'm looking for, I just look and find another book that sounds interesting. And there a few more things on the "Hasn't" list, but I don't really want to do those... the "Hasn't" list is already long.. There are a lot of books that I really want to read, but I either don't have the time too or there is some stuff that I need to do. Here are some of the books that I want to read... (I'm just going to do book names...) The Cloak Society trilogy by Jeramey Kraatz I've already read the first book for this trilogy, and I've been wanting to read the other 2 books! I absolutely love the first book and can't wait for what the other 2 have in store! :3 Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger I haven't read any of these books, but I really want to. These books look and sound really good and my oldest sister absolutely love this series! The 4th book (according to Amazon) is coming out on November 3rd, 2015 (if that's what it means by "This title will be released on November 3rd, 2015"). Oracles of Delphi Keep series by Victoria Laurie I was sitting in a library and I found this book, and started reading it while I was waiting. What I read of this book was super amazing!!! But I was reading the reviews on the 3rd book and the book series got cancelled! I'm still going to read the books, though. The Magic Thief series by Sarah Prineas I absolutely LOVE this series!!! I found out a quite a while ago (I think I found out in December) that there was a 4th book to this series and that totally made me freak out. I was happy with the ending of the 3rd book, but she came out with a 4th one! People, if the books you love says series, than there is going to be more than 3 or 4 books. So expect more... I didn't... what so ever. For quite a lot of book series. I can't wait to read the 4th book! Winterling series or trilogy by Sarah Prineas I loved the first book! I can't wait to read the other two books!!! :3 I don't know whether it is a trilogy or a series though. One Amazon source said it was a series, but on her author page (which is on Amazon) she said that it was a trilogy. So I don't know which one it is... sorry. (While looking at those books, I found some more books that looked pretty interesting and found out what their summaries were. I really want to read the books that you are going to read below.) The Accidental Hero (A Jack Blank Adventure) by Matt Myklusch (SERIES) This is the first book in the series and it sounds AMAZING!!! I really want to read this book! Hope the library here has it... Okay, I just went to the library site and I found the book series, but the first book (at the library) isn't called "The Accidental Hero". It's called "Jack Blank and the Imagine Nation". So, which ever one it is, I want to read it! :3 Children of the Red King #1: Midnight for Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo (SERIES) First thing, I love her last name! :3 The way I say her last name is Nemo, so I think her last name is cute. I'm SUPER sorry if I'm saying your last name wrong! I really want to read this book. I SUPER-DUPER want to read this book... here is the summary that Amazon has provided. Amazon Summary for Children of the Red King #1: Midnight for Charlie Bone: A mysterious case, the search for a missing girl, and a legacy of magic... When Charlie Bone discovers that he can hear the conversations of people in photographs, he is shipped off to Bloor's Academy, an elite school for the rich, gifted, and magically endowed. Once there, he realizes that some of his classmates have equally mysterious powers, and Charlie becomes absorbed in uncovering their dangerous secrets. When Bianca and I read that he had the ability to hear the conversations of people, we were all like, "Oh, he's got telepathy." But when we read the photographs part, our minds were completely blown away. Figuratively. Not literally. It sounds like a super awesome book! For the Accidental Hero/Jack Blank and the Imagine Nation and the Children of the Red King #1: Midnight for Charlie Bone, I have NOT read these books. I just found them, read the summaries and thought they sounded cool. What are some of the books that you have on your "I Must Read These" book list? Tell me in the comments! :3 People. If I had a Facebook Account I would LOVE it. (I actually want a Pinterest account more though...) But back to Facebook.
Facebook's abbreviation is 'FB' or 'fb', either one. I'm pretty sure it has over a million people on Facebook and is growing by the day. Everyone becomes addicted to Facebook because of numerous things. Here are some examples:
Those are some examples that I just literally just made up in my head. I honestly doubt they're true... except the second one. My mother did that once. It was pretty funny actually. But back to the point. WHAT WOULD I DO IF I HAD A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT?! Literally what would I do? Well, I'm going to tell you.
Do YOU have a Facebook account? What do you do on it? Tell us in the comments! Thanks! Hey Everybody! So Charisma and I have offically decided to shut down the Monday Mayhem's and Saturday Specials, because it just wasn't working for us. Instead, we are going to do Top Ten Tuesdays created by The Broke and the Bookish. We will have redesign the page that use to be for Monday Mayhem and Saturday Specials and instead use it for the links for our Top Ten Tuesday Posts. I, for one, am SUPER excited, because I saw TONS and TONS of other people do this and in my head, I was thinking, 'Where in the world did they find that?' AND I FOUND IT! It actually took me a long time to find it. I had to go to like, three different blogs to find this one. It was super funny, but very nerve-racking, although, I did find some pretty good blogs.
Not only do I have Enrichment Classes today I've got Yoga! And that gets me all pumped up and super happy. X3 How awesome is that? Okay, so you know how Disney is making a live-action Cinderella? Yeah, I went to the Disney blog and apparently Disney is making a live-action Belle next! I am SO excited! I'm mean don't you just love Belle? Okay, okay, I get it. Only some people LOVE Belle, others like her and all. But really who doesn't love her? She's got the cutest outfits. She reads like, all the time. ALL THE TIME!! I WANT TO READ ALL THE TIME LIKE SHE DOES. SHE CAN SING AND READ PEOPLE.... SING AND READ! I can't do that... Yes, Belle, I'm sure you did! (Would you mind telling me the title?) I would love to talk to Belle, IT WOULD BE LIKE TALKING TO A CELEBRITY! WE LOVE YOU BELLE! BTW, reading is so much fun! IT TAKES YOU TO BEAUTIFUL PLACES! I like to read whenever so I can escape to my Fantasy World (Reality.... It sounds different from Fantasy huh?). Again, I'll be doing a blog post in Coming Soon: Book, I've got TONS to tell you guys about! So stay in tuned!
Hey Everybody!
So, as you can see in the title, there are going to be some changes... And that is with the Monday Mayhem and Saturday Specials. Since Charisma and I don't have enough time for those, we'll just be changing them to once a week on a Thursday. Now, it's going to be called Thursday Turn-Overs, and I"M GOING TO FIND YUMMY TURNOVERS TO BE IN THE BACKGROUND. IT"S GOING TO BE BEAUTIFUL. Hehe... Yup! And someone replied to our Crazy Poll (Click here if you haven't taken it or you have ideas to help us with our blog!) and they said that we need to talk more about pizza. So *rubs hands together* I'm going to talk about pizza. PIZZA IS DELICIOUS, I'm pretty sure I want pizza every night for dinner... IT'S SO GOOD. Yum...! Also, I'm going to be doing a post on Writing Music in the Coming Soon: Book section... Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca |
