みなさん、こんにちは! Life, people. I love it. I have NEVER had such a fun/happy/crazy summer like this one. And let me tell you, I have literally done NOTHING to laugh. I just laughed at everything. Music, pictures, animes, cartoons, food, I don't know how I do it, I just love to laugh.
Schools starts August 17th for me and Charisma. I am so steamed. I wanted school to start on August 15th and then I totally forgot about this 'stagger start' thing. Ugh. When I want school people, I want school. But, now that I think about it, I'm actually quite thankful. I can get ahead in Science (the subject that doesn't love me and I don't love it) and so that way I can better understand the content that I'm being taught and then I can get an A! :3 I'm ready school (except I don't have my planner just yet....). My Japanese is going good. I'm trying to find a teacher on the site called iTalki, I have the teacher (is she a tutor?) that I want to study with but a one hour session cost 9 dollars. I'm not worried about the nine dollars part, I'm just worried that my mother won't let me use iTalki. Capital Kings, an American pop, electronic and Christian pop group, released an album called (II) last year in October and I absolutely love this album. My favorite song so far has to be Northern Sky, then it would have to be Live For The Drop. I haven't been writing lately, that's the reason I haven't updated My Writing Journey in quite some time. I'm thinking about editing Another Imagination soon, I just don't know how I'm going to print it... Why is that still a problem for me? Surprisingly, I have NOT read much of anything this summer. I've read some Pokemon manga, but that's it. Well, now I've got something to do. I need to go see what books I can get at the library... Well that's pretty much it! How's your summer going?

みなさん、こんにちは! (Romaji: minasan, konnichiwa!) -- (English: Hello, everyone!)
Every time summer rolls around I feel like doing absolutely nothing. Which is bad because I want to learn Japanese, I have a blog to keep updated (which reminds me, I recently watched X-Men: Apocalypse several days ago and did a movie review about), and I work for a lady from my church. Ugh, it's terrible. I got my school report card! I have all A's and one B (thankfully, this B is in Science, not math). Like I've been telling you all, if I get most to all A's in 9th grade, I will be able to take a college course of Japanese in 10th grade. Eeeh~! I'm so excited. My Japanese is going very well. I'm proud of my progress and I am planning on taking the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N5 next year (2017), but I have to run it through my parents first. Although, it's going to be tough because the JLPT only does it once a year (not twice like in Japan and some other countries) and it's ONLY on the first Sunday of December. That's going to be a big problem for my family. (Kemushi-chan/Loretta did a video about the JLPT) I haven't done any writing at all lately. I'm thinking about doing some this week or some time next week. I just want to write. I want to edit Another Imagination, but it's like 48 pages and no one is willing to print it for me. I've got to find some way to print up those pages, that way I can print and edit that fantastic book. Honestly, I don't remember much about the book, so it's going to be a lot of fun re-reading a book I wrote. :3 Oh! Me and my family decided to start watching Once Upon A Time. Let me tell you. This show is greatly terrible. The only reason I say terrible is because this show is way messed up. But I love it none the less. One of us should have a show review for it soon. Well, that's it for today, thanks for reading! Hey everyone, I'm back! I've gotten back into the groove of writing ( I think...) and now I'm back to writing blog post again.
Life is going really great. I'm finished with math, literature/G.U.M. (G.U.M. is grammar, usage, and mechanics), and I'm finished with science! I need some help with Geography (my mother's going to help me with that) and then I'm finished! It feels good to be done. Also, Charisma is going to take a break from activities for a while, meaning she won't be blogging (or drawing) until she's finished with school. Me and my sisters watch this youtuber called Matthias and he is amazing. I watch him daily because he makes me laugh (a lot) and I also LOVE watching his daily vlogs that he does with his wife (who happens to be the outstanding Amanda Faye, I love her channel too!). My Japanese is going really well, although I had to pause because my parents thought I was going to too many Japanese sites (I kept getting done with school early. I'm sorry that they didn't like my good grades). My parents are really glad that I have good scores, they just wanted me to be finished with school first. And honestly, it didn't bother me that much. I could get done with school quite early and that's what I planned to do with Charisma (AND BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE... WE'RE ALMOST DONE). I've got a question, does anyone know what a sunshine package is? Some call it a Sunshine Care Package, but usually it's to brighten someones day. I want to send a Sunshine Package to Matthias and Amanda Faye. :D I'm excited. Like really excited. So, who would you send a Sunshine Package to and what would you put inside the package? Alright, thanks everyone! I'm going to be posting soon in Writing Journey, just to let you know! :3 You read right. We're going to audition to be a part of High School Musical 4. And, boy, am I excited. And nervous. And really happy. Okay, I'm have a lot of feelings towards this, but hey, I'm gonna give it my best go and I'm going to love EVERY MINUTE. And if you didn't know that they're doing auditions, you should go do it (btw, you need to be around 14 - 17, have the Disney Applause app, find a song that fits your vocal chords--only do a verse and the chorus--, and practice the script. More info about auditioning here). I've always wanted to be a part of Disney, it would amazing if Charisma and I were part of the cast. :3 School's going really good. I've got a A's in everything but science (I've got a low B which I need to start getting a high B.... because bad things are going to happen if I don't). I'm trying to get done with school around May 18th, which, if I do, would be GREAT. The only thing I'm having trouble with is my Geography assignment. I have to plan a dream vacation. Sounds easy, right? Well, I still think it's kind-of easy, but I've been hitting some bumps. I've got to plan this vacation down to the slightest detail and that's going to be really hard (mean finding pictures of certain places, I have to record the weather, the average precipitation, etc.). And my maximum budget is 10,000 dollars and the minimum I have to spend is 8,000 (keep in mind I can't go over budget, 5% can be spent for gifts/souvenirs and 10% can be used for food, while the rest must be used for hotel, airline tickets, car rental, etc.). You get the idea. I'm still having my major writings block (wanting to write something, but avoids writing at all times, you can read my small post at My Writing Journey). Although, early this week I was able to write a small bit for a new story. That made me really happy. I'm actually really surprised that I wanted to write this blog post, because I've been wanting to do it for a long time now. Learning Japanese Yup! I'm still at it. I've master hiragana, I'm working on katakana (although I need some more index cards... -_-) and I'm working on kanji (slowly, but I'm getting there).
The site's that I'm using (apart from the first Learning Japanese):
I was bored one day (this was a while ago) and ended up looking around Tokyo Otaku Mode News (which is such a super awesome place; go check it out!). As I was scrolling down and looking through all of their posts, something caught my eye. Japanese Titles of English Movies Aren't Always What They Seem to BeMe, being quite curious, clicked on it and watched the video. I was not prepared for any of it. None of it. It truly was unexpected. Don't believe me? Here's the video and go see for yourself! :) There are no bad words. Just if you're wondering.
Wasn't that completely unexpected, yet hilarious all at the same time? This made me laugh so hard when I watched it! I didn't know that people could be that unique re-naming movies. Seriously. No idea. Well, hopefully this little post made you either laugh of smile! Tell us in the comments what you're favorite Japanese title was! :P Welcome one and all to our very first Doki Doki Crate opening! We received this kawaii little package on February 8th and we are so excited to share with you what we got. Charisma and I have never heard of Japan Crate until last month (January) and we slowly debated whether we should get the Japan Crate (which is a box full of candy) or the Doki Doki Crate (which is a box full of kawaii goodies!), which is very new, as it started December 2015. Our final decision was to get the Doki Doki Crate, but, in the future, we're planning on getting a Japan Crate. Now, let's take a look! We didn't think of taking a picture of the box, so, there are only pictures of the content. Sorry! Isn't it so adorable?! I loved everything that came inside! Here's what we got:
This had to be an amazing package. It was SUPER adorable and I absolutely loved it. Most of these items were very small, yet I have to admit, I was expecting them all to very either very small or at least medium sized. Although, I was expecting the crate to be a bit bigger, but I am still pleased with the overall package. Also, when you sign up for the Doki Doki Crate (or the Japan Crate) you have the chance at winning a Suteki package (or if you signed up for the Japan Crate, a Sugoi package). Technically what it is a bigger Doki Doki Crate, but with different items and it is MUCH bigger (we haven't won one yet). For one month, the Doki Doki (and the Premium sized Japan Crate) cost 30 dollars (moolah, dough, bread, cha-ching, bucks, whatever you want to call it), which might sound a lot, but it is worth it. REALLY worth it. (P.S. I'll be doing my favorite OTP's this week... SO, expect something very, very, very funny.)
We're learning Japanese! I know, I know, it's a big surprise, but we're doing it! ALTHOUGH, we aren't doing it through school. We're doing it old-school style (a.k.a. that means we're doing it through different websites).
The websites that we're using are:
Our mother said that if we got REALLY good grades in our freshmen year (which is 9th grade. I'm still not use to the whole sophomore, junior thing....) then we can go to our community college and take Japanese there!! In 10th grade!! So that is my goal. To get really good grades in my freshen year to get Japanese (and go to college.. hehe!) in my sophomore year. Oh I am so excited! :D Can anyone recommend any good Japanese books that I should buy (or look into buying?) Well everyone, have a good day! Hello again world! Lately, I have been obsessing over a box of Japan goodies called Doki Doki Crate by Japan Crate. This crate is filled with happy, happy sunshine. Gosh, I love this box (I call it a box since it is MUCH easier to say than crate, in my opinion). Do you remember SuperCuteKawaii from the blog post 'Best. Blogs. Ever.'? WELL, they opened up the January Doki Doki box and I love it! I also so a video about someone opening the Doki Dokie box, sooooo I'mmma gonna show you that one! (The video is for the December 2015 Doki Doki box.) I love it! It just so darn cute and adorable. Charisma and I are thinking about whether we should subscribe to this or not. And if we do, what plan would we choose? IT'S SO HARD.... :'(
Hmm... I haven't talked about my daily life in a long time have I? WELL, I have a 81% in Algebra 1, I have an 88% in Comprehensive Science 3, I'm not sure what I have for LAC (Literary Analysis and Composition) because they won't tell me, and I have a 100% for Geography which is proving to be MUCH harder than I anticipated it to be (DARN YOU GREAT SCHOOL). Yes, I am still Cheerleading. I've been saying that I don't like it and everything, but I'm still at it. Funny right? But I guess it has it perks, you know? Going to all the games are very aggravating, I have to learn new dances and cheers every week, and my mother thinks that I LOVE it a lot. At some moments I do, just not every single minute. How do you tell someone that you don't like something that they thought you liked? I-I'll figure that out... I still have my glasses and they aren't going ANYWHERE. Although, I do want new glasses. I've had mine for two, maybe three(?) years now. But, hey, as long as I still like them, they're fine. Let us move on! Hmm... what else has been happening in my life... Well, I guess not much else. For Christmas, Charisma and I got an Xbox 360 with Forza Horizon 2 on it and it is sooo much fun. Well, I must be off! I have left a special button for you to click on getting you straight to the Doki Doki crate site. Have fun! I guess by now everyone is wondering why we don't post everyday. The reason why is because we're either doing school, reading, listening to music, or checking out cool blogs. And now, I am ready to present some of the blogs we just love to look at!
I'm sure I've missed plenty of blogs, but that's all I can remember at this current moment in time. I hope all of you enjoyed looking/reading about all the blogs that me and my sister love and we hope that you enjoy them too! What blogs do you like? Come on and tell us in the comments! Also, I asked my mother my mother if she would mind if Charisma and I did giveaway's in the future and she said that she wouldn't mind if we did that. So keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway. A few days ago I realized that I haven't been posting much on the blog (Don't worry, I'm alive. If I wasn't, how would I be doing this post? Just things to think about.), which made me really sad because I had/have a lot to talk about! That's why I decided to do a post today.
As you all know, it's officially December. Winter doesn't begin until the 21st (Okay, how does that make sense? When it gets to December--in the United States--it gets COLD. Like really cold! So should winter officially begin on the 1st? I said it before, I'll say it again: Just things to think about.) but PFFT, who cares (duh, I do...)? I have a high B in Math (for those people who don't have letter grades for school, I have a 88.7%). Although I have a high B (88.7%), I am very disappointed that I don't have, at least, a 90%. I guess I'll have to make do with the grade. I'm finished with LAC for the whole semester (*sings* I got it done really early, early, early.... Oh yeah, it's my birthday--NOT--my birthday! YEAH!) and History (kind-of, sort-of. I have to do a poster or brochure thing-y for it, BUT OTHER THAN THAT....). And math is getting really hard and I'm starting to dislike it... Like dislike-dislike-dislike it. >:( Hmm... What else should I talk about? OH YES. (If you're wondering, yes, I am still obsessing over Japan. :D) I found this lady (whose YouTube Channel called: How To COOK That) and she is really fun. She makes these outrageous (if you've seen Jem and the Holograms show, you would understand that joke) sweets. She's made a Giant Snickers Bar, a Giant Kit-Kat, a Instagram Cake and TONS more! Oooh! I find another web-comic! I usually read Battle-Dog and The Awkward Zombie (love 'em!) BUT Battle-Dog hasn't updated in such a long time (yet the creators are like "Oh! The Battle-Dog Charms are on sale NOW! Come get 'em!". IF YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR COMIC UPDATE!!!), which has made me sad and angry. You know, the usual emotions you feel when something you've been waiting for hasn't continued. The new web-comic is called Shadowbinders (main characters names are Crimson Rhen and Mia.... I OTP--One True Pair--or shipping them. :3 sshhhuuuussshhhh don't tell) and Awkward Yeti. Best. Web-Comics. Ever. As you all know (if you don't know, that's fine. :3), a long time ago (like 3 or 4 years ago) me and my sister watched an anime called "Princess Tutu". It was literally the best show ever (tied with ALL those other anime shows) and my older sister (the one who we watched it with) said that we get to re-watch it during Christmas Break (but my mother said that we could start watching "Once Upon A Time" with her during Christmas Break... CHOICES). I used to like this game called MapleStory, I still like it (and I still want to play it), and I re-found the MapleStory blog that I used to follow! The blog is called the Orange Mushroom (such a cute name!) and, currently, the six Heroes of Maple have come together to protect humanity once more! GAAAHHHH! Just writing it makes me happy! :D Of course I'm still listening to music, I just thought that I probably shouldn't post any because Charisma would be doing that (*wink*). OH YEAH! I just watched the new Star Wars trailer (I know, I know, what's wrong with me) and I absolutely ADORE it! Well, I guess that's it everyone! Tell me in the comments if you want more 'Let's Just Talk' posts, cause if you do then give me a few weeks and I'll have 'em! Thanks everybody! (And hey, if I made any grammar issues, tell me in the comments and I'll fix them...) Bianca |
