School, for me anyway, starts August 17th. Unbelievable right? We've had 3-ish months of summer and, to be honest, I am so glad to be going back to school. I've missed it really badly. Why did I miss it? Because I wanted to be busy, I wanted to keep myself occupied and when someone gives you no chose but to occupy yourself, I find it very encouraging (especially if I want to do it!). The best part about school is that I'm taking mostly 10th-grade classes. Biology, Geometry, Honors English, Art in World Cultures (ELECTIVE), HOPE (this is P.E.), Civics (Charisma and I could've taken this in 8th grade but my parents didn't want us too), and Digital Literacy (it's required. Trust me, I tried to get out of it....). :D I'm going to be so busy! :D
My Japanese is going well, although I would like better sources for vocabulary and grammar (those are the two things I'm currently working on). Or maybe, I don't know, a teacher? As some of you might know, it's my goal to take a college course for Japanese at my local community college while in 10th grade. That is why I must get all A's on my report card. I'm an over-achiever when it comes to school. If I don't get an A or a B, I will be absolutely shattered, but I would still tell my parents that I got a low score, because they'll either help me, remind me of my goal, tell me to get help from a teacher if I'm really struggling with a certain concept, and a whole lot more. I'm digitally editing a character that I drew! And let me tell you, *laughs*, I don't have anything fancy. No SAI, no Wacom Cintiq or Intuos, no Photoshop. Nada. Zilch. Nothing. All I've got is my handy-dandy, scanner, Paint (which is already installed on every computer), and my imagination. And truthfully, I am terrified. This is the scariest experience of my artist life. (I have several lives: Writer's Life, Artist's Life, Blogger's Life, Over-Achiever's Life, Crocheter's Life, Reader's Life, OTAKU's Life, Family Person's Life, and Outstanding-Amazing Friend's Life. I have nine lives unless someone can see more of my lives that I can't see... One might say I have nine lives. :D) Since I've never done this before (and since I have ZERO LAYERS. I didn't know what layers did before, but now I know that layers ARE A BLESSING!!! Do not take those beauties for granted!) I'm watching my sister (who is digital editing too) while she gives me tips, and I'm re-doing everything for the Umpteenth time. Though, I will survive. I read a variety of good books this summer (don't worry, I'm gonna do some Book Reviews before school starts) and now I have found my favorite Female author: Katy Towell. I love her so much, that reading the two books she published were satisfaction for a week. Her books are all the scary, friendship, terrifying-suspenseful moments I could ever want in a book! :D Her website is called Skary and, I believe, she's working on another book (oh am I excited!). I've had one for a while know but, I'm finally on Miiverse! I've put several posts from my gaming experiences on Demo's and full games, although they're all from Nintendo. I've posted some Style Savvy: Trendsetters and Fashion Forward, some Pokemon X and some other games as well. I'm trying to earn the money to buy some games (Animal Crossing: New Leaf is NEXT on my list. Unless someone convinces me otherwise), yet that's taking a whole lot longer than anticipated. So yup! This is life. I hope all of you have a great rest of summer break!

Hey everyone! Bianca and I had the awesome opportunity to watch Nintendo's E3 live on Twitch on the 14th and the 15th. We knew that some awesome games were going to be introduced, demonstrated, and there was going to be some intense game-play, but what we saw was beyond anything I had imagined! At Nintendo E3 Day 1, these two games were shown: Pokemon Sun and Moon Pokemon Sun and Moon @ E3 2016 and the new Legend of Zelda Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild @ E3 2016 First Up: Pokemon Sun and Moon Once Reggie opened up NIntendo E3, he gave a quick introduction for Pokemon Sun and Moon, saying that it was the biggest new adventure for the 3DS. After the Treehouse members introduced the guests, which were Mr. Ohmori and Mr. Masuda from GAME FREAK Inc., they showed the Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer. -_- I can't find that trailer though. Sorry about that. Anyways, the trailer showed the new Alola Region, consisting of 4 different islands, one being man-made, the cute new Starter Pokemon: Rowlet, Litten and Popplio, the awesome Legendary Pokemon: Solgaleo and Lunala, the options of choosing your hero or heroine (which now has 4 different looks instead of the 3), and some of the characters that you'll be encountering (like the Professor, his assistant, and your new friend in Alola). The trailer was truly outstanding, but then they jumped into gameplay. I got to say, this has got to be my first time really watching Pokemon gameplay (I watched a bit of Pokemon X and Y, but really just the beginning) and it was great! It was also Nintendo Treehouse's first time for live gameplay of Pokemon! It was super great to be a part of that, even if Bianca and i were at home watching on the couch. :P The Pokemon game-play had so many pluses going for it that portraying it all will be kind of difficult. So let's just start with the first one on my list (because I took notes so you all can hopefully experience the awesomeness):
Pokemon Sun and Moon comes out on November 18th, 2016. Next is the Highly Anticipated: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful that title is? All of the Legend of Zelda titles are amazing, but this one has to be the best of them all. It says so much is so few words and it already gives the player an image of what they might encounter. But, instead of trying to portray the beauty into words, why not show you all the magic?
The Legend of Zelda games are held dear to many gamer's hearts, and I'm quite sure that this game is going to join that fast growing list. Treehouse members, who was joined by the amazing Mr. Aonuma and Mr. Miyamoto, said that this game was to break the barriers between all past Zelda games. This got me super excited because in the trailer the super long bridge that was shown was seen and used in Twilight Princess. Then my mind got theorizing about how all the games could be connected and this timeline was created: (Spoilers Ahead!) Ocarina of Time - because it's the beginning, Marjora's Mask - Link is searching for Navi because she left him at the end of OoT, Hyrule Warriors - Link's admittance to the Hyrule Knights, Twilight Princess - reason being the Hero's Shade is said to be Link from OoT, then Skyward Swork - The floating islands were also in Twilight Princess, also it's a great progression with technology, lastly this game. It all sort of ties in. You know, with creativity. But anyways, moving back to the report. The rest of Day 1 for Nintendo's E3 was spent viewing gameplay of the long awaited Legend of Zelda game. Because of that, I have a lot of points to go over on my list. So instead of completely boring you, I'm going to shorten them quite a bit:
I could keep on going and probably spoil some stuff, but I don't want to do that. I want it to be an adventure for everyone out there who's going to play it. :3 Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild comes out in 2017. There's more game excitement coming up in a few days. Because Day 2 of Nintendo's E3 covered a lot more games, I'm probably going to put Day 2 into quite a few parts. So be on the look out for those! The other posts will be in the "Game Reviews," just to give you all a heads up! Also! I want to know all of your opinions on what Bianca and I should call you. Like Parker Games' followers are called Jeffery's, so we wanted to do something like that. Here it is: Are you looking forward to any of these games? Tell us in the comments! Either Nintendo is just flat out awesome or gamer paradise. I can't pick, but in any case... NINTENDO YOU RULE THE GAMING WORLD. Okay.... That might just be me who thinks that... Might, but I truly do think that. I mean... LOOK! XD HOW COOL IS THAT GIF.? I thought it was pretty sweet, and I'm kind of drooling over it... But ANYWAY. They are making a Majora's Mask for the Nintendo 3DS, they're making a new Nintendo 3DS XL (which I'm now calling 'New Nintendo 3DS XLR8'. Thank you Charisma for coming up with the name) But I mean, how cool is Majora's Mask? (Epicness in its self) And let's up not forget about the OTHER Legend of Zelda games... (I've only played one and seen walkthrough's for the other... -_-)
And then comes FIRE EMBLEM. Never played one of their games or watched any walkthroughs, but one day... I'm going too. But here is the reason why Fire Emblem... And this is just the TEASER Trailer.... But then, this guy comes and starts Analyzing the who entire trailer! (Which can be found here) How COOL IS THAT?! I think it's pretty sweet. But, that's just me. Anyway, then there is Mario games and Super Smash Bros. Brawl and then there's other games which are super cool.
Thanks and tell me what you think in the comments! ~Bianca (P.S. Follow Your Inspiration Month starts tomorrow! Come and join us! Click here and here for the posts about it!) I'm TIRED!!! Everyone drained out my energy and all I want to do is sleep. IT'S NINE O'CLOCK OVER HERE!!! I'm just so tired and want to all asleep on everything.... But-I-Must-Finish-My-Schoooooooooollllll........
Hey Everybody! It's Bianca here! Today, I have been so lazy. I just want to flop on my bed and sleep. I didn't even get a lot of sleeping in. (Which is a terrible thing, yes I know.) Anyway, I have to stay up until I finish at least SOME of my school. But today was Yearbook Picture day! Yay, right? It was fun! Its just I was nervous like a duck.... -_- It felt terrible. Now, I'm just lazying around pretending I've got stuff to say. Next up, I found out that Club Nintendo is going to stop.... :( Which was so sad on my part... I'm going to miss it. But the Nintendo site is still going to run. *sigh* I'm going to miss you Club Nintendo.... Anywho, I've been avoiding writing lately because I'm just not sure what to write about. UNTIL YESTERDAY (thank YOU basketball game!)! I've decided to go in a WAAAAYYYY different direction for my writing. Instead of fantasy, why not a book based on a something that is REAL?! Well, I guess all ideas are from REAL things, but this one is--I guess I'm trying to say is--Okay you know what, I just can't describe what it's about, it's just going to be EPIC! I should start writing right now huh? Everybody have a good day (and sleep well!) ~Bianca (P.S. Sorry that none of the schedules have been working right for the past few weeks. I promise, in two weeks, we should be on a role with regular postings. Thanks!) |
