Before I begin this lovely post, I must tell you a short little story that I had with Charisma today. I was minding my own business and doing school when I said aloud, "What are the factors of 63?". Charisma then asked, "Piggy Fruit?"
PIGGY FRUIT PEOPLE.
I began laughing (because I couldn't believe she said Piggy Fruit) and said, "What?!" in between my hysterical dolphin/hyena (I either call my laugh a hyolphin or a dolphyena). And then she went on to say, "J-Just don't listen to me....".
At the time, it was hilarious, but looking back it's super sad. :D I guess that's what makes it funny.
Alright! Now on to the actual post!
Let's begin with the Advantages:
Mind Reading Powers
Let me expand on something: Finishing Each Other Sentences
- I'm not sure why, but twins either say things at the exact same time or finish each other sentences. It's pretty explanatory. Yet, it's really cool when it's a really long sentence (and you just don't know what they/we're going to say next!).
- Also, when one of us can't explain something, the other jumps in the conversation and repeats the sentence but in a way the audience (meaning our parents) can understand.
Crying, Singing, Dancing
Loves The Same Thing
- The reason we keep blaming each other is because we make ourselves fall in love with new anime's (which is bad for us because that means more picture looking and less school work doing). Let's just be VERY thankful that we do school next to each other so we can say 'DO SCHOOL' to each other.
And those are the advantages! There are plenty more, don't feel as if that's it, but I can't remember them (I had this whole post planned out and I forgot like half of what I wanted to talk about....!!) Now, we're off to the Disadvantages:
The Third Wheel
And it is VERY annoying when the twin adds UN-NEEDED information. That's when it's the worst and most aggravating.
Morse Code... For Twins
That just hurts.
And then... we become silent. It hurts when people say that. Honestly it does. There isn't a lot we can talk about except what we know (which is techincally games, books, games, anime's, games, manga's, games, Marvel, games, DC Comics, school, knitting, crocheting... you get the idea). AND WE'RE HOMESCHOOLED FOR PETE'S SAKE. Not a lot of interaction (WEELLLLL other than teachers of course and time to time we do get open chat).
It's also very sad when you're talking to a friend and they don't have any idea what we're talking about. Because you want to talk about it with them! And, yes, at times, it is nice to have everyone ignore you and just talk (yes, it does feel nice during some occasions) with your best friend. (But we don't want to hear snarky remarks because of that...)
So yes! I absolutely LOOOOVVVVEEEE being a twin. I've handled a lot of situations with Charisma, so I'm used to (almost) everything. I wouldn't trade Charisma out for the world. Sometimes I wonder why people say 'Oh, I wish I had a twin'.
Do you have anymore questions about being a twin? Do you have a twin? Or do you have a best friend that's like your twin? Tell us in the comments!
