Okay, this post was meant for YESTERDAY, but I didn't get around to posting it. So use your imagination and pretend it's yesterday.... Until reality hits you saying 'You can't travel back in time...'.
It's the last day of September, everyone! Can you believe that?
This month was so exhilarating (I got to find out who the 2016 keynote speakers are going to be for Teen Author Boot Camp... Ya wanna know?). In school, I have good grades (I have an A in everything. And if you think about it, we only have 8 more months of school...) and blogging has been going fantastically (we've had 993 views in ONE day!). I don't know about you, but September was a great month.
I've been finding new animes to watch (like Pripara! Oh my goodness, I can't wait to watch it...), trying to find a reliable source to find out Japanese culture (if you want to learn a language... Learn the culture!), and I'm stocking up on my Spanish (my mother said if I wanted to learn Japanese during the next school year, then we had to keep up with our Spanish. I still love Spanish. :3).
Oh! And I'm trying to get ready for NaNoWriMo! It's NaNo Prep season, so I gotta be prepping myself. ;D
*SIGH* Life is full of blessings if you take the time to look for them.
Well, I must be off to go and get school finished!
Thanks everyone for reading our blog! If you want to share this blog post (and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account) there is a share button at the bottom of each of the posts. If you don't have a a Facebook or Twitter account, then just keep on being the lovely people you are. :3
Hello viewers! Readers? Blogger friends? I'm not sure what to do... :3
Anyways, because I haven't posted ANYTHING this week, I'm going to do a blog post on what's happened this week that I could've done a post on.
And we may begin!
And some more exciting news..... :D I'm so happy! :3
Isn't the cover just magnificent?!?!?! I love it! So if you click on the picture, then it'll take you to Sarah Prineas's author site. The link will be on the description of the book.
So (with my understanding) this is going to be her first YA novel. I'm so excited to read it! The cover is just gorgeous, the font is unbelievable and the dress and shoes are really pretty (but the back of the dress could be less... revealing).
Yeah, that's the exciting news. :3
So! Tell me (or us...) in the comments what your favorite holiday (or random day; ex: hat day, dog day, etc.) is, what your favorite YA fairy-tale novel is, and/or what your favorite season is!
I am so excited for school. I really know this sounds crazy to most people, but I really am. For teachers and assignments and writing essays. *Sigh* It sounds to good to be true. :3 And I found out that October 1st (I'm pretty sure it's October 1st) is when the new Teen Author Boot Camp information is revealed!
I wonder who is going to be the keynote speakers. I am feeling way too happy. :D And all I have to do is wait. Wait for school, wait for TABC, but I can't wait. I'm to excited/nervous to wait. (The mixed word for excited and nervous is nerited or nerite. I love smashing two words together....)
There is a super surprise that I can't wait to tell all of you when it's finished. The sad thing about the surprise is that it should be done maybe in a year (or less of course). But, it is a cool surprise. :D To give you clues on the surprise, I'm going to highlight things in blue and it should be in every post that I do.
Thanks everyone for reading and have a good day!
Yup! Since the school year is about to begin and we're going to have an even crazier schedule, Charisma and I have discussed what we were changing the schedule to.
Monday: Twisted Two - Bianca
Tuesday: Inspiring Art (Charisma)
Wednesday: Twisted Two - Charisma & Bianca
Thursday: Writing Journey (Bianca)
Friday: Twisted Two - Charisma
That's going to be our school schedule. :3 And we're going to put the schedule into action starting next week. Okay, now for my favorite part....
Charisma and I get to learn Japanese in High School! We've always wanted to learn Japanese and now our dream is actually coming true! I got some Japanese cookbooks from the library and I'm over the moon about it. The funny thing is that I haven't done any of the recipes inside the cookbook... yet. But we're going to get to it (one day).
School is starting soon and I absolutely can't wait! This summer has been so busy and I can't wait to get into an actual planned schedule. ;3
Have a fantastic summer!
I know, I know. It's super cheese-y, but hey, you have to give credit to whoever thought of it. I would have never thought of that for a LOOOOONG time.
For those of you who don't know why it's called that, you can just Google "Why is May the 4th star wars day" and stuff will show up. If you scroll down, then you'll find some stuff. Yeah, I it was super cool, I didn't know that "May the 4th be with you" was a pun. Or that's what some of the results said.
What are you doing for May the 4th? Me, nothing. -_- I know, it's super sad. But hey, tonight we might be watching Enders Game! :3 I'm super excited about that! :D
Tell me in the comments what you're doing today! :D
I woke up earlier than everybody else (except my dad), so I didn't know what to do. Being as bored as I was, I went to the Google homepage and scrolled over the "I'm Feeling Lucky". It rolled and it stopped at "I'm Feeling Generous". I clicked on it and was surprised at what I saw.
Here is the link: One Today
(I couldn't get the picture.. Sorry 'bout that)
Nepal Earthquake: Clean Water Initiative
- United States Fund for UNICEF
$1 = 157 water purification tablets.
(This links back to the same site as the "One Today" I posted above.)
The UNICEF is the United Nations Children Fund. I think it's really cool that they are doing this! So far, 1775 people have raised $7,506. That's 1,178,442 water purification tablets. That's a lot of purification tablets, but I'm positive that more can be given and more people helped. Sure, Nepal is all the way over in Asia, but that shouldn't stop us from helping those in need. Those helping numbers are growing by the minute, so I can't really give you the exact number.
I'm not really sure how the donation process works. I'm really sorry I can't deliver that information to you. But please, go help those in need, locally or internationally.
Just a little act of service can make a huge difference in others. So why wait to make a difference?
WE GET TO PARTY LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!
Hehehe.... just kidding. You've got way more responsibilities when you're thirteen. And trust me, I may sound SUPER crazy, but it's really fun. Anywhooo, since we are 13, we can watch PG-13 movies! YAY!
But, the first PG-13 movie that we wanted to watch wasn't available...
It was Enders Game, which we really, really want to watch! :3 Our mother says it's a really good movie, and that makes us even more excited. And after that movie, we want to watch the Avenger movies, like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Avengers, etc. We can finally watch the 3rd Harry Potter movie (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban). We can also start are slow and heavy ascent to reading Teen/Young Adult books (I want to read the Princess books by Jessica Day George first...). :3
I also can't wait to get a library card! I really want one, but I have no idea when I'm going to get that or if I'm going to get it when I'm 16. It's a huge possibility that we get one when we are 16... But hey! We can try and get it when we're 13 or 14!
Also, with the summer weather coming, we can safely say that we are ready for a new layout! But the one we wanted wasn't our favorite, so we are trying to pick another one. We'll tell you when we are going to change! :3
Tell us in the comments what you are ready to do this summer!
Yup... And we are super-di-duper-di SUPER EXCITED. We are finally turning 13. (We'll actually be a teen... Yes!)
It's like swimming in very cold water on an extremely hot day. *starts dozing off* Okay. *wakes up* That's pretty much it. If you have a birthday coming up in April, tell us in the comments and we'll celebrate it with VIRTUAL CAKE AND CHOCOLATE!! YAAY!
We sincerely apologize for not blogging in so long! First, we have been sick with some unknown sickness (we don't know what caused it but we're are all better now) and when we're sick we can't look at the computer screen AT ALL. Next, we went to our nana's house (which takes 18 hours from where we live) and that takes two days, so, we stayed in the car for two days.... Then we had only one day to spend with our Nana before we had to go running on Saturday. We did a race and two years ago we did 9 minutes and 33 seconds for a mile. Then on Saturday we did 7 minutes and 28 seconds. IT WAS AMAZING! I felt so proud that we did 2 minutes less, Charisma was trying to slow down, but (hehehe) I wasn't going to let her.
Also we are SO sorry that I haven't been posting in 'My Writing Journey'. I've been just recovering from that sickness and I really didn't want to get on the computer. So yeah..... WE ARE BACK NOW!
(BTW, I'm not doing the gif any more at the end.)
I am SUPER sorry that you guys haven't received a post from the guest blogger yet, but we've been having some minor.... difficulties.
So please, please, PLEASE stay intuned! If the guest blogger doesn't blog on Saturday, I'll make sure they blog next week.
(Follow Your Inspiration Month ends on March 1st!)
