Hello Twisters! (Like the name? I wanted you all to have have a name, because "everyone" sounded a bit too weird. ;P) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has created an Advent Calendar for the Christmas Season. They created this calendar so that, leading up to Christmas Day, people could do acts of service of do some of the things that Christ did. I discovered this Advent Calendar this past Sunday, as my bishop introduced it to all those that were in the congregation. I was very excited to start participating, because I love the thought of serving. Service was always something that I really enjoyed. I found it very fun and I could do it with the people that I loved. So when this opportunity came, I new exactly what my first act of service was going to be: Share it with all of you! Light the World
I was so inspired by this video, it almost made me cry. (I didn't want to cry in my seminary class... so I tried to hold back the tears. ;3) When I saw this video, I wanted to do everything in my power to serve those around me, but I knew that I couldn't serve everyone in the entire world (because that was my inital feeling). Writing this blog post on this was the least I could do, and I really wanted you all to 1) take part in this lovely act of daily service and 2) know that Bianca and I were still alive. #LIGHTtheWORLD Advent Calendar In church, they passed out a piece of paper that had all the days printed on it (it came with the Sunday program). I looked over it, and all of the service days are beautiful, amazing, and can be done within a decent amount of time! (Because they know that we are all busy people... sighs) But usually when doing acts of service, time goes by at a decent rate, not too fast, but not too slow, so I think it works out wonderfully. :) And what's so amazing about the acts of service is that technology can be used to help spread the word! If you want to be a part of this wonderful service opportunity, go start serving! But, if you want to let your friends know, use the hashtag #LIGHTtheWORLD. :3 I hope you take this chance to serve those around you and be as Christ was: a light to the world. Matthew 5:14 - 16 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Let's start the Christmas season with a whole lot of service, joy, happiness and love!

To begin this post, I must, must, MUST do this.
I am hilarious and I deserve a applause (just kidding... Well, I am hilarious, but you don't have to give me an applause. :D). Okay, NOW I can begin. Yesterday, Star Wars officially came out in to US. I am bouncing happy. Like super happy. I mean come on! WHO DOESN'T LOVE STAR WARS? (If you love Star Trek more, I get that. You're cool.) All the characters are so original, BB-8 is just do cute that is is humanly unbelievable, AND there's a new villain (who doesn't love a good villain to scream at?). I am so excited to see it! (I've been pumped up for this movie for such a long time and I didn't see it on its release date.... That is really funny. :D) My mom said that we could watch it as our Christmas movie. As a family tradition would tell, we would always watch a brand-new movie (usually Narnia) at the movie theater but since Narnia has paused (meaning that the kids have to grow up) we would watch other movies. But I don't think we did this tradition last year. Google made this really cool website for Star Wars and it was amazing (click here to check it out!). Well, I've got to go and clean up, but I promise, I'll do a post next week! See ya! ~Bianca A few days ago I realized that I haven't been posting much on the blog (Don't worry, I'm alive. If I wasn't, how would I be doing this post? Just things to think about.), which made me really sad because I had/have a lot to talk about! That's why I decided to do a post today.
As you all know, it's officially December. Winter doesn't begin until the 21st (Okay, how does that make sense? When it gets to December--in the United States--it gets COLD. Like really cold! So should winter officially begin on the 1st? I said it before, I'll say it again: Just things to think about.) but PFFT, who cares (duh, I do...)? I have a high B in Math (for those people who don't have letter grades for school, I have a 88.7%). Although I have a high B (88.7%), I am very disappointed that I don't have, at least, a 90%. I guess I'll have to make do with the grade. I'm finished with LAC for the whole semester (*sings* I got it done really early, early, early.... Oh yeah, it's my birthday--NOT--my birthday! YEAH!) and History (kind-of, sort-of. I have to do a poster or brochure thing-y for it, BUT OTHER THAN THAT....). And math is getting really hard and I'm starting to dislike it... Like dislike-dislike-dislike it. >:( Hmm... What else should I talk about? OH YES. (If you're wondering, yes, I am still obsessing over Japan. :D) I found this lady (whose YouTube Channel called: How To COOK That) and she is really fun. She makes these outrageous (if you've seen Jem and the Holograms show, you would understand that joke) sweets. She's made a Giant Snickers Bar, a Giant Kit-Kat, a Instagram Cake and TONS more! Oooh! I find another web-comic! I usually read Battle-Dog and The Awkward Zombie (love 'em!) BUT Battle-Dog hasn't updated in such a long time (yet the creators are like "Oh! The Battle-Dog Charms are on sale NOW! Come get 'em!". IF YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR COMIC UPDATE!!!), which has made me sad and angry. You know, the usual emotions you feel when something you've been waiting for hasn't continued. The new web-comic is called Shadowbinders (main characters names are Crimson Rhen and Mia.... I OTP--One True Pair--or shipping them. :3 sshhhuuuussshhhh don't tell) and Awkward Yeti. Best. Web-Comics. Ever. As you all know (if you don't know, that's fine. :3), a long time ago (like 3 or 4 years ago) me and my sister watched an anime called "Princess Tutu". It was literally the best show ever (tied with ALL those other anime shows) and my older sister (the one who we watched it with) said that we get to re-watch it during Christmas Break (but my mother said that we could start watching "Once Upon A Time" with her during Christmas Break... CHOICES). I used to like this game called MapleStory, I still like it (and I still want to play it), and I re-found the MapleStory blog that I used to follow! The blog is called the Orange Mushroom (such a cute name!) and, currently, the six Heroes of Maple have come together to protect humanity once more! GAAAHHHH! Just writing it makes me happy! :D Of course I'm still listening to music, I just thought that I probably shouldn't post any because Charisma would be doing that (*wink*). OH YEAH! I just watched the new Star Wars trailer (I know, I know, what's wrong with me) and I absolutely ADORE it! Well, I guess that's it everyone! Tell me in the comments if you want more 'Let's Just Talk' posts, cause if you do then give me a few weeks and I'll have 'em! Thanks everybody! (And hey, if I made any grammar issues, tell me in the comments and I'll fix them...) Bianca Hey Everybody! Today is Friday and that means 6 more days till Christmas! I'm freaking out but so excited all at the same time! Here's today's picture. Who doesn't love Pooh? I couldn't resist.
Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca Hey Everybody! Got to make this quick since I've got to go to bed. Today's Disney picture is this! Thanks and please comment!!
~Bianca Hey Everybody! It's day two on our 12 Days of Disney Christmas! YAY! So today, for Charisma and I, we are going to be painting pottery for our grandparents for their Christmas present! (so excited!!) But yup, and here's today's picture. So have fun and holly!
Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca Hey Everybody! So sorry this is late, but Charisma and I are doing 12 days of Christmas! But, since we started late, it's going to run over to the 27th. Oopsie. Anyways, today's the first day of the Disney Christmas countdown and that means we shall be posting Disney related images every day. Isn't she so cute and adorable? Happy first day of the Disney Christmas Countdown!
Thanks and please comment! ~Bianca ....You kind of get sick of sweets if you're full or if you've eaten to much sweets. Or that might just be me...
Hey Everybody! It's the Holiday season and that means you've got to buy a bunch of things for you friends and you'll get super stressed because you're not sure if they'll like this present better than this certain present. (I have had that happen TO MANY times -_-) But ANYWHO... The question that everyone is probably asking there parents is 'Will you get me this present?' or 'How about this one? It's super cheap!' (<---- And they probably mean less than 200 dollars) or they could ask 'What should I get him or her?', 'Do you think they'll like it?', and last but not least the final question is 'What do YOU want for Christmas?'. Yes, you all know it, we've ALL been there. You don't have to deny it! We've all begged for Christmas presents, we've all begged for something in life. But in our little hearts, we always believe Christmas, ahh yes Christmas time, will be the time you get your hearts desire. Some of us are hoping for a pony, some of us an iPhone 6, others a million dollars. And Santa (yes, I do believe in Santa Claus... What's not to believe?) he always get you something better! So as Christmas Day starts to creep closer and closer, you're rushing to the stores looking for presents, buying food for Christmas Breakfast and Dinner, trying to decided what to wear for school, looking for matching ugly Christmas sweaters to wear around the house, looking for the fluffiest slippers for your cold feet and so on. There is SO MUCH TO DO! And you just don't have the time. Sometimes I think 'OH NO! I don't have any money to buy this person a present' or 'Do you think I could take a dollar or two to buy myself some candy?' There is so much YOU want when the Christmas season rolls around, you kind-of forget that you need to get your friends presents. Also, you and your parents are going to get the Christmas time stress, and trust it isn't pretty... But don't worry! In the end, everything'll turn out just fine. ~Bianca Hey everybody!
Today is.... DECEMBER 1ST! Now we can finally sing Christmas songs, put up the Christmas tree, wear Christmas outfits, shop on the Christmas deals. There is SO MUCH TO DO at Christmas time! Yippee! Super excited! What's YOUR favorite part about Christmas? Tell me in the comments! Thanks! ~Bianca |
