Welcome one and all to our very first Doki Doki Crate opening! We received this kawaii little package on February 8th and we are so excited to share with you what we got. Charisma and I have never heard of Japan Crate until last month (January) and we slowly debated whether we should get the Japan Crate (which is a box full of candy) or the Doki Doki Crate (which is a box full of kawaii goodies!), which is very new, as it started December 2015. Our final decision was to get the Doki Doki Crate, but, in the future, we're planning on getting a Japan Crate. Now, let's take a look! We didn't think of taking a picture of the box, so, there are only pictures of the content. Sorry! Isn't it so adorable?! I loved everything that came inside! Here's what we got:
This had to be an amazing package. It was SUPER adorable and I absolutely loved it. Most of these items were very small, yet I have to admit, I was expecting them all to very either very small or at least medium sized. Although, I was expecting the crate to be a bit bigger, but I am still pleased with the overall package. Also, when you sign up for the Doki Doki Crate (or the Japan Crate) you have the chance at winning a Suteki package (or if you signed up for the Japan Crate, a Sugoi package). Technically what it is a bigger Doki Doki Crate, but with different items and it is MUCH bigger (we haven't won one yet). For one month, the Doki Doki (and the Premium sized Japan Crate) cost 30 dollars (moolah, dough, bread, cha-ching, bucks, whatever you want to call it), which might sound a lot, but it is worth it. REALLY worth it. (P.S. I'll be doing my favorite OTP's this week... SO, expect something very, very, very funny.)

Last year today (man was that a LONG time ago) I posted a blog post called 'Follow Your Inspiration Month and Chocolate'. It was in that post that I said that I would be doing 'it' (I'm not exactly sure what it was...) every year. I decided not to do it this year and probably never again. Before I let you all go, I wanted to share this really cute recipe video with you (it has an adorable song with it. It sounds like something that would be in a Studio Ghibli moive). Hello WORLD! Before I begin this lovely post, I must tell you a short little story that I had with Charisma today. I was minding my own business and doing school when I said aloud, "What are the factors of 63?". Charisma then asked, "Piggy Fruit?" PIGGY FRUIT PEOPLE. I began laughing (because I couldn't believe she said Piggy Fruit) and said, "What?!" in between my hysterical dolphin/hyena (I either call my laugh a hyolphin or a dolphyena). And then she went on to say, "J-Just don't listen to me....". At the time, it was hilarious, but looking back it's super sad. :D I guess that's what makes it funny. Alright! Now on to the actual post! Let's begin with the Advantages: Mind Reading Powers Yes it's a thing. Twins are born with it and they just have this type of connection. When one gets hurt, the other feel injured. When one is separated from the other, they both feel lost and confused (this happens to be my experience with Charisma and I KNOW there are other types of twins out there, so ask about their experiences too). And twins can finish each other sentences or they can say the act same thing at the exact same time that you were going to. Let me expand on something: Finishing Each Other Sentences
Crying, Singing, Dancing YOU GET TO DO THIS WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND. Isn't that just great? To sing a random song in the backseat while your older sisters and parents are having a serious conversation (someone needs to lighten the mood), to dance in the grocery store (we've actually been complemented many times for doing this), to cry at everything Marvel, DC Comics, books, anime's and etc. (We ALL know that Anime's and Books kill hearts.) So it's nice to know that you don't have to do it alone. Loves The Same Thing Since twins are still human, we each have different things we like, what we don't like, and so forth. But, there are just some things that we absolutely adore (and it's because we get each other hooked and then in the near future we blame each other for getting hooked on something... because we love it to much.)
And those are the advantages! There are plenty more, don't feel as if that's it, but I can't remember them (I had this whole post planned out and I forgot like half of what I wanted to talk about....!!) Now, we're off to the Disadvantages: Best Friends Since your twin is your absolute best friend, it sort of feels VERY hard to find another best friend (you know, that's outside of your family). And it's really sad because you WANT to make another best friend. The Third Wheel I always feel that whenever I make a new friend, I become the third wheel (BUT HEY. I'm to happy to let that bother me!). Although I feel as if when we (meaning me and Charisma) make a new friend together then our new friend will either be bombarded by questions or feel like the third wheel (because Charisma and I like to talk among ourselves as well). And that makes me feel really bad because I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE ANYONE OUT!!! It makes me sad.... :'( Connection Since twins are connected we do everything together. So if one of us wants to have a private conversation with our mother or father, the other isn't allowed (which I don't understand because later on we're going to tell each other). Although, those alone talks our very helpful because being a twin can be hard sometimes. This brings us to our next topic: Unwanted Interuptions You remember when I said that twins tell each other everything and add on to a conversation when the other just doesn't know what to say? Well, that can get VERY aggravating. Especially when, in the first place, you were handling the conversation rather well and, two, you could actually think (I'm not sure, but I think that I can actually put more words together when I'm a good distance away from Charisma. It doesn't mean I don't love her to death, it's just that when ever I see her I want to tell her a bunch, but I still want to talk to the human beings that I'm friends with--this will bring us to our next topic). Weird and confusing, right? And it is VERY annoying when the twin adds UN-NEEDED information. That's when it's the worst and most aggravating. Morse Code... For Twins Well, I guess this can be placed as both an Advantage and Disadvantage. The reason being is that when you talk in public areas, Charisma and I can talk about the most RANDOM-EST things ever. But it's also very annoying when an adult, who has NO idea what we're talking about (we could be talking about school), says 'You two should be talking about something that could effect (or is it affect?!) people's lives.'
That just hurts. And then... we become silent. It hurts when people say that. Honestly it does. There isn't a lot we can talk about except what we know (which is techincally games, books, games, anime's, games, manga's, games, Marvel, games, DC Comics, school, knitting, crocheting... you get the idea). AND WE'RE HOMESCHOOLED FOR PETE'S SAKE. Not a lot of interaction (WEELLLLL other than teachers of course and time to time we do get open chat). It's also very sad when you're talking to a friend and they don't have any idea what we're talking about. Because you want to talk about it with them! And, yes, at times, it is nice to have everyone ignore you and just talk (yes, it does feel nice during some occasions) with your best friend. (But we don't want to hear snarky remarks because of that...) So yes! I absolutely LOOOOVVVVEEEE being a twin. I've handled a lot of situations with Charisma, so I'm used to (almost) everything. I wouldn't trade Charisma out for the world. Sometimes I wonder why people say 'Oh, I wish I had a twin'. Do you have anymore questions about being a twin? Do you have a twin? Or do you have a best friend that's like your twin? Tell us in the comments! We're learning Japanese! I know, I know, it's a big surprise, but we're doing it! ALTHOUGH, we aren't doing it through school. We're doing it old-school style (a.k.a. that means we're doing it through different websites).
The websites that we're using are:
Our mother said that if we got REALLY good grades in our freshmen year (which is 9th grade. I'm still not use to the whole sophomore, junior thing....) then we can go to our community college and take Japanese there!! In 10th grade!! So that is my goal. To get really good grades in my freshen year to get Japanese (and go to college.. hehe!) in my sophomore year. Oh I am so excited! :D Can anyone recommend any good Japanese books that I should buy (or look into buying?) Well everyone, have a good day! Yesterday, Charisma and I made riceballs for the first time! They're really good and we're going to make them again (once we find the main ingredient again!). *sigh* This month has had a lot of ups and downs lately. Not only has it been crazy, but really loonnnngggg. Hmm... Where do I begin? Basketball Games. That's where I'll begin. As many of you might now, Charisma and I are Cheerleaders for a homeschooling group. And in a few posts ago, I said this: Yes, I am still Cheerleading. I've been saying that I don't like it and everything, but I'm still at it. Funny right? But I guess it has it perks, you know? Going to all the games are very aggravating, I have to learn new dances and cheers every week, and my mother thinks that I LOVE it a lot. At some moments I do, just not every single minute. How do you tell someone that you don't like something that they thought you liked? My opinion still stands. BUT, it's getting better (because it's ending soon!). I think I had a bit more fun cheering for football then basketball (it was JUST SO COLD ON THOSE BASKETBALL DAYS THOUGH.....). You seem my problem. Mouse Problems. We've had mice problems before, just not like this. You can hear them, you can see where they've been, you just can find them. WHY DO THE CUTEST THINGS HAVE TO BE THE MOST TROUBLE. (Does anyone think mice are cute or do they think they're scary and consider them rodents?) School. Yes, I'm still having problems with school. I so ahead in math, that I've haven't done a lesson in one and a half weeks. That's a LOOOONNNGGG time. But, I'm scared that if I get a bad grade on my math (again) that my score (which is currently 81% B) will go down to a C (it was very hard to bring that C up to a B. Very Hard). I'm ahead on Geography (still!) and Science (This makes me really happy. Since Science isn't my strong point--it's Charisma's!--I'm really glad that I don't have to do much to stay ahead.). Tamagotchi Friends. If you're new to our blog, then I love everything Japan and Kawaii. If you're a returning friend, then you already know that! Well A LONG, LONG, LONG, LONG, LONG, LONG time ago (like when I was 6 long time ago), I used to have a cute little system called Tamagotchi Friends. Mine was round with light blue and tons of cute patterns on it. This thing was my buddy/best friend (other than Charisma). It would wake me up in the middle of the night or random parts of the day when I have to feed my little cutie or play with it, etc. IT WAS FANTASTIC. Then, my little cuties (I had more... :3) GREW UP. THEY GREW UP INTO ADORABLE CUTE LITTLE ADULTS. ISN'T THAT AMAZING??!?!?!??! *calms down* Well, I had a great life with my Tamagotchi. But then I gave it to one of my older sisters who restarted it (saying that she would play it) and I was really glad I gave it to her because I knew she was going to love it! She didn't play with it... So I tried asking for it back, yet she kept saying that she was going to play with it. THEN SHE LOST IT. IN. THE. WASHING. MACHINE. I was not only crushed that it was gone forever, but I was also hurt because she didn't play with it. One of my other older sisters (the oldest actually) had a Tamagotchi as well, so I tried getting that one from her, but that didn't work. After several years, I got the Tamagotchi that my eldest sister had and... Now I'm not sure where I put it. BUT I SHALL FIND IT! The whole point of this story was that I re-found the lovely world of the Tamagotchi's and found out that in Japan and China(???) they are now in color, but they are in different cases as well! I was really happy when I found out and now, I'm gonna get one (later in life). Happy Monsters. These next few images will explain why I love this person so much. See? I love that person soooo much. They just make my day. And there is a TON more the author has done.
I think that's about it. I love doing these 'Just Talk, and please tell me in the comments whether you enjoy them or not. Thanks everyone and have a great day! You know the little tid-bits in your life that you just want to tell everyone about, but your not sure how? WELL, that's how I feel and I thought, 'Why not do a blog post about it?'. Then I said, 'YEAAAA!! That's a great idea me!'. (Yes I do talk to myself. There are just those moments.... You know?) And the moment that I wanted to share with all of you FABULOUS PEOPLE is the little tear-drop cutie called Hoppe Chan. Who is Hoppe Chan you may ask. WELL, in short--I have no idea. It's just something in Japan that I SUPER love because it's just so adorable. SOOO adorable. For the January Doki Doki packages, they came with 1 out of the 18 different characters that could be chosen, and I saved a picture to show you! Aren't they cute? I love the kitty one that has that big bow black and pink bow and the white one that has the mustache and the golden crown. I want one really bad. Like really bad. (I bet you want one too. :D)
WELL, I must be off everyone! Thanks for hearing me ramble on and on about this cute thing. :3 Hello again world! Lately, I have been obsessing over a box of Japan goodies called Doki Doki Crate by Japan Crate. This crate is filled with happy, happy sunshine. Gosh, I love this box (I call it a box since it is MUCH easier to say than crate, in my opinion). Do you remember SuperCuteKawaii from the blog post 'Best. Blogs. Ever.'? WELL, they opened up the January Doki Doki box and I love it! I also so a video about someone opening the Doki Dokie box, sooooo I'mmma gonna show you that one! (The video is for the December 2015 Doki Doki box.) I love it! It just so darn cute and adorable. Charisma and I are thinking about whether we should subscribe to this or not. And if we do, what plan would we choose? IT'S SO HARD.... :'(
Hmm... I haven't talked about my daily life in a long time have I? WELL, I have a 81% in Algebra 1, I have an 88% in Comprehensive Science 3, I'm not sure what I have for LAC (Literary Analysis and Composition) because they won't tell me, and I have a 100% for Geography which is proving to be MUCH harder than I anticipated it to be (DARN YOU GREAT SCHOOL). Yes, I am still Cheerleading. I-I'll figure that out... I still have my glasses and they aren't going ANYWHERE. Although, I do want new glasses. I've had mine for two, maybe three(?) years now. But, hey, as long as I still like them, they're fine. Let us move on! Hmm... what else has been happening in my life... Well, I guess not much else. For Christmas, Charisma and I got an Xbox 360 with Forza Horizon 2 on it and it is sooo much fun. Well, I must be off! I have left a special button for you to click on getting you straight to the Doki Doki crate site. Have fun! I guess by now everyone is wondering why we don't post everyday. The reason why is because we're either doing school, reading, listening to music, or checking out cool blogs. And now, I am ready to present some of the blogs we just love to look at!
I'm sure I've missed plenty of blogs, but that's all I can remember at this current moment in time. I hope all of you enjoyed looking/reading about all the blogs that me and my sister love and we hope that you enjoy them too! What blogs do you like? Come on and tell us in the comments! Also, I asked my mother my mother if she would mind if Charisma and I did giveaway's in the future and she said that she wouldn't mind if we did that. So keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway. Once again, you must travel back in time to yesterday (that's the only way this post will make sense) and as you finish remember that no one can travel back in time (WELLLL, technically, that's no true because you have your memories and memories are your gate way to the past. So, you know, if you look at it that way....). Hello! Tomorrow, yes tomorrow, will be the beginning of 2016. Janurary will begin, school will start the second semester, a lot of exciting shows and movies will be coming out, people will be wishing that the holidays weren't over, and it's going to be the year of the presidential election. 2016. Wow. Put it like that and 2016 sounds scary (except for the show/movies part). I don't want to bore you with why I put the 'presidential election' thing-a-ma-gig-er up there, but this years wanna-be presidents don't thrill me. At all. And I don't like politics much so I guess that could be a reason why too. I'll try not to think of 2016 very much (how can I not think of 2016?!!???! It's literally tomorrow!!!). Charisma and I have started our Marvel movie watching! Meaning we've only seen Hulk (2003 version), Iron Man (you know, the one with Robert Downey Junior? The very first one?), and Thor (the one and only Chris Hemsworth is in it). Our next movie is Captain America with the dreamy Chris Evans. Eeep! I am so excited! :D Charisma and I have been working on collaborative stories together for a good while (none of them seem to be going, if you know what I mean) and I've been wanting to make this RPG board game for quite some time (maybe something like Dungeons and Dragons?). But the question that's been stopping me from making the game (all you need is rules, character classes and a pair of dice.... Right?) is should I make it into a book before I make it into a game (I have made some characters that I really want people to enjoy and have fun reading, but would it be cooler that the characters I made were mentors and went on journeys with the RPG-er's?) or should I make the game first and incorporate that into a book? Yup, I know. C-O-N-F-U-S-I-N-G. I don't even have a name yet.... Oh well! I'll think of one (sooner or later).
Does anyone have their New Year's Resolution written down yet? I don't (because I usually write it down at night time). Well, I must be off! I'm a late little bunny and I have things to do. ~Bianca |
