Hey everyone and welcome back to Game Reviews! If you're new here, then my twin sister, Charisma, and I review games that we've either played in the past, games that we are currently playing, and games that are new-and-upcoming games that we're interested in. Before we get started, I would like to state that all of the images are ones that I've personally have taken during the game. Please be respectful of the images and do not use them as your own. Thank you! Today's game is the LoveLive! School Idol Festival from the Google Play store. Before playing this game, I've watched some of the Love Live! anime, which was absolutely amazing. From the singing to the real-life situations, it was a show that I could get into and enjoy. Unfortunately, I was only able to watch a couple of episodes, so I don't know a lot about the show. I knew about this app before I installed it, but I didn't have a phone then. Now that I finally got a phone I immediately downloaded it and... I waited. Yes, oh yes. This game takes up a LOT of MB. This game takes up 789MB and that's with all its updates. With a good Wi-Fi signal, the whole download should only take about 5 - 10 minutes, so it wasn't a very long wait, but I wasn't expecting to wait for this particular game. Before the large download session, there is an option of 'LIGHT' and 'STANDARD'. The 'LIGHT' option is where you play the game and only update the game to progress and there was the 'STANDARD' option where you could download the whole game and the only thing that you had to download was the 'BUG FIX' updates/new features. Since I wanted the full game, I chose 'STANDARD', so I'm not sure how 'LIGHT' works. Also, regarding Wi-Fi, this game only works with Wi-Fi. I've tried multiple attempts to play the game without it, but it is strictly a 'Wi-Fi Only' game. Now, off to Gameplay! I, personally, think that you have a lot of freedom in this game. Once you finish the tutorial (which I neglected to take screenshots of) the game is really simple. To put it simply, as someone could easily make a basic explanation complicated, depending on the type of circle you type and/or press. If anyone's played a Hatsune Miku Project Diva or Project Mirai DX, then it's very close to gameplay in that sense, except on a mobile device. The game starts you off with the setting of 'Easy' and, as I've never really played a game like this before, I was having a tough time. I got the controls of the game rather quickly, but I wasn't prepared when I decided to switch the mode to 'Normal'. It was at the same beat as the previous mode, yes, but there were a lot more circles to touch and they were just flying all over the screen. I would highly advise starting with 'Easy' to memorize the songs a bit and then slowly working yourself to a higher mode setting. On the lower part of the image above, you see 'Home', 'Story, 'Members', 'Live Shows', 'Scout', 'Shop', and 'Other'. There are definitely a lot of places to remember in this game, so let me dive deeper into each:
And that's the overall game! Since the game is super intense, I was unable to take a few screenshots of the actual game. Once more, I took all these images myself using the screenshot feature on my cell phone. If you want to get this game yourself, I would highly recommend it! Overall, I would give it 4½ stars! Also, if there are any games that you would like to see me play, please suggest them in the comments!

Hey everybody and welcome back to Game Reviews! Today's topic is all about the famously acclaimed game series Professor Layton and the upcoming addition to the series! As some of you might have known, the last Professor Layton Game was Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. Nintendo has declared that the Azran Legacy game was going to be the final game the Professor would star in and now, there has been confirmation that Nintendo is making a new game featuring Professor Layton's daughter. According to Kotaku, Lady Layton is set to release in Japan somewhere around Spring 2017 although, there has been no word yet on whether there will be a Western release. On the Japanese Nintendo site, they have made an article introducing the characters, their voice actors, and the plot of the story. But since everything is in Japanese, you might have to use a translator. As always, thanks for reading and keep gaming! Welcome back to Game Reviews everyone! Today's topic is all about Pokemon Sun and Moon, as there has been new information on the upcoming game. As many of you already know, Pokemon GO has already been released on the mobile phone and Pokemon Sun and Moon is coming the the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS on November 18th of this year. But on the first of this month, Nintendo released new information about the new Pokemon coming the Sun and Moon. Along with these new Pokemon comes new forms of the Legendary Pokemon Zygarde. For more information about the nine new Pokemon, please visit: Nintendo - What's New: Debut of Nine New Pokemon!
Hey everyone! Here is Day 2 for the Nintendo E3 Report. Like I've said before, this is going to be split up into many parts, because Day 2 featured a lot of games. But if you didn't read the Day 1, go check it out! Nintendo E3 Report: Day 1 We're going to cover two games today! Pokemon Go Plus Pokemon GO Plus @ E3 2016 and Ever Oasis Ever Oasis @ E3 2016 First Up: Pokemon GO Plus Treehouse members introduced us to the many guests that were present. There were developers, translators, and field testers present that day. From the Pokemon Company there was Mr. Ishihara, from GAME FREAK Inc. there was Mr. Masuda, from Niantic, Inc. there was Mr. Nomura, from Nintendo there was Mr. Miyamoto, translator #1 is David Numrich and translator #2 is Raymond, and the two field testers were Mr. Josh (I couldn't figure out the rest of his name) and Aaron "Cybertron" Zheng. First, we're are going to be focusing on the Pokemon GO app, then the Pokemon GO Plus. The Pokemon GO app is where you go and search for nearby Pokemon. Sort of like Geocaching, if you know what that is. Then, once you've found the Pokemon, you have the ability to capture it. And as you capture more Pokemon, you can battle and trade Pokemon, like in the Nintendo games, but for your phone. This app looks fabulous! The animation that went into this is the same amazing animation that goes into any Pokemon game. Here's the trailer:
Doesn't it look exhilarating? But remember the little red and white teardrop thing that the woman with the glasses had? That's what we're going to be talking about right no: the Pokemon GO Plus. The Pokemon GO Plus is an attachable tracker that connects via blue-tooth. This tracker allows users to use GO without the use of their smartphone. How this works, I'm not quite sure, but hey! There is still being tested. It'll all make sense in the end. The Pokemon GO will have some connectivity with the main Pokemon series as well. Again, how this is going to happen, I don't know. But don't worry. It'll come together and make so much sense, that it should've been thought of. :) But for some game-play like details! With the Pokemon you capture, as you travel, you will gain candies. These candies look like a specific Pokemon, therefore, if you get a specific amount of candies for a specific Pokemon, you can evolve them. E.X. If you have a 25 HP Squirtle, you would need 25 Squirtle candies. It's that simple. I'm quite sure that the more you capture Pokemon, the different kinds of candies you get. Also, remember that part in the trailer where all these people came together to battle Mewtwo? Well, that type of collaborative battling is a maybe in the future. I hope that it is added, because that would be absolutely amazing to be able to battle with someone else! Pokemon GO Plus comes out at the end of July. Next Is: Ever Oasis Now I hadn't heard of anything about Ever Oasis until that day. Like seriously, nothing. I'm usually up to date on the games Nintendo releases, both Japanese and American. The reason for the lack of knowledge was that Ever Oasis is completely new! This was the first time that it was being introduced. So I got quite excited. Anyways, back to the report. With the game being new, there was obviously a guest. For Ever Oasis's guest, Treehouse had Mr. Koichi Ishii-san, a Final Fantasy director! Cool, right? But it gets cooler... :P The developers of the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. (I'm not done with the awesome coolness, though.) This game is an action, adventure, RPG game, but it's also like Animal Crossing: New Leaf? Or something like that. That's what it looked like to me. You manage shops that gather these water droplets that are your currency to do many things. Like get more shops or fun little play things. These shops or cute little attractions gather and attract others from across the land into your oasis. With these newcomers, if you befriend them and help them, they can become you adventure buddies! This is especially helpful because each dungeon is tailored for specific friends. So you might have to redo dungeons to get all of the items, or come back to the oasis to get the correct friend for a dungeon. It is a really unique looking game. Like normal games, you can pick between a boy and a girl. The Treehouse members said that there were many was to customize, if I remember correctly, but they didn't feature that in the game-play that they were doing. They only played as the boy and let me tell you. That boy is soooo cute! The art style in the game is adorable! Everyone is so cute and tiny and honestly, this is in the best way possible, they look like nendoroids, but in a game. Like the Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX! But we're not talking about that today. If you go find pictures or fiddle around the Nintendo E3 site and look at Ever Oasis, you can see that some of their clothing looks very Egyptian. And that's because some of it was inspired by the Egyptian design and some friends even have names of Egyptians. I found this element very cool and it instantly appealed to me because I love Egypt (because of Yu-Gi-Oh!) and I always love it when people inspire things off of something, like Egypt, to get something amazing. Though the Treehouse members didn't go quite into detail about this, they claimed that the game had a strong story-line. With the little that I do know about it, it would probably spoil the whole thing, and I don't ever want to ruin the story plot line for any book or game. Never ever. (That's why I give such bad book reviews. ;P) In the game, there is a day and night cycle (how long each is, I don't know). I'm quite sure that the day/night cycle effects the creatures you battle in the desert. ('Cause your oasis is based in the desert.) I think they make them stronger then when you battle them in the daytime. Which gives you a harder element in the game. All of the game-play is engaging, interesting and intriguing. The game sucks you right in at the very beginning, which I think is very essential for any game. All of the games components makes for a game that shows amazing potential, and I am very excited to find out more about this game. Ever Oasis comes out in 2017. There are some more awesome games coming up in the Nintendo E3 2016 Report! Can't wait to show you the rest of the games that have been shown! Are you looking forward to any of these games? Tell us in the comments! I couldn't find a trailer for Neko Atsume, all I could do was take some pictures. Hope you enjoy!
My mother found this game at the app and when she showed me and Charisma the game we said, 'Oh my goodness! It's Neko Atsume!'. The whole game is about how you attract kitties by feeding them and giving them toys to play with and then they give you sardines (and sometimes gold sardines) so you can purchase more food and toys for the kitties.
It's kind of like the Circle of Life. But for Kitties. The game comes in two languages: Japanese and English. If you're practicing Japanese, then you can switch the language and ta-da! It's done. Also, there is an option, if you have a mobile device that doesn't have a lot of storage, where you can make the graphics suitable for your device. Some other reasons why this is a good game:
There are many other things that make it quite an enjoyable game, but there was one thing that I didn't like about the app. When you click on the 'Menu' button (which is conveniently put in the upper right-hand corner), there would be an occasional little kitty sitting on the menu screen (it's small) and it would say, '(Fill in a kitties name) has a brochure for you!'. But when you click on it, it's like an actual ad (and the exit button is extremely small). Yet, I think that's the only thing I didn't like about it. Although, you can easily ignore the ad, so it's not a big deal. All in all, I rate this game a four stars. iTunes: Neko Atsume Google Play: Neko Atsume
Category: Simulation Lifestyle Fashion-Styling This is an amazing game. Seriously. I honestly was not expecting this game to be as awesome as it turned out to be. I saw the trailer, fell in love with it and then asked myself, "Do I really expect it to be as great as the trailer? I know for a fact that it won't have the same amazing digital/CGI quality it had in the trailer." Because of that thought I put my expectations level really high and expected this game to be really low. Okay, and recap time: Bianca bought it from Amazon because she thought it was better than the first Style Savvy game (which is just called Style Savvy). She was considering the first Style Savvy game because it had the option to get a boyfriend, but Style Savvy: Trendsetters beat that consideration because of these reasons: 1. Better Graphics 2. Option to Create Men's Outfits 3. More Clothing Options 4. More Freedom with Your Character 5. More Organized And probably some more stuff, too. Anyways, I was super excited when the package came in the mail and I constantly watched from over her shoulder on how the story would play out and how you did everything in the game. Though the concept is simple, it gets increasingly harder throughout the game. There are those crazy people who say "Oh! just give me an outfit under my budget that matches my style" and your supposed to guess what their style is and sometimes it just completely stands out. WHILE OTHER TIMES YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM 3 OUTFITS TO LOOK AT AND NONE OF THEM MATCH THEIR STYLE. What in the world, right? Anyways, the idea of this game is ingenious. You go from a beginner who just moves into town and starts to work at your favorite store, then you just slowly sky rocket from there. :) It is actually a very satisfying experience as you play through the game. Style Savvy: Trendsetters is a wonderful game to play through and actually makes you think on what styles are cute together and what quite aren't. It let's you think about money and what to buy when shopping for your shop. It's a really cool game. Bianca and I rate this game a 4 stars! Rating: E 10+ No. of Players: 1 Player Animated Blood Multiple Slots Fantasy Violence Suggestive Themes Category: Action, Adventure, Role-Playing System: Nintendo 3DS Trailer Info: The font in the IGN Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time trailer is like a version of the Old English Text, so it might be hard to see the words. But there are no bad words in the trailer. Bianca and I are very fond of good action and adventure games. They're just one of the best games out there. And this one, this one has been talked about for years now! Starting out in the early days of Nintendo, the Legend of Zelda series has been loved by many. And this remastered version is a beautiful edition to the series. I've played this game on multiple occasions and have loved it. This game makes you think, lets you tackle all the baddies you want, and when your done with the main version, you can test your skills with the Master/Hero version. It flips the whole game around and gives every dungeon a harder and tougher system to beat. But it's great for gamers! This game is casual here and intense there. You can die at any time in the game, so keep your inventory happily tidy of items that you will need. There are some moments in the game where you are thinking where's the action, while others... other moments make you think that you'll never stop giving Link those dreaded Game Over's. -_- We've been there. If your that awesome person who thinks restarting a boss fight is a chance to understand their tactics, good for you! Anyways, this game is very unique from all the other games I've played, and I've played quite a variety. All in all, we would rate this game a 4 and a half stars. Hello everybody! You all probably saw the Movie/Shows Reviews and if you didn't, go check it out!
Movie/Shows Reviews Well, like I said in that post, I told you all that this would be appearing in November, and because it's the end of November, I have decided to do it. So... TADA!!!! Here is how we are going to rate the games: 5 Stars - Absolutely AMAZING game play! The graphics were beautiful, the plot was superb, the character development was outstanding and overall, the best game ever played. 4 Stars - This game was pretty great. The graphics were fine, the plot was good, and the characters/their development could've been better, but it was pretty great anyways. 3 Stars - This game was good, but there could've been quite a bit to make it so much better. 2 Stars - This game was pretty bad. There was nothing that really stood out to us and it just didn't really capture our attention. 1 Stars - This game was a HUGE let down. There was *no* supporting factor that could make it a 2 Star and the everything was horrible. Hope you enjoy the game reviews we're going to be posting here real soon! (I might even post one today!)
