There are millions and millions of amazing books out there, making your already long list of "Oh My Goodness, I Need To Read This Book" even longer. Then when summer rolls around, and your local library is doing the "Summer Reading Challenge", you have the chance to get some books off of your list. But, when you've completed the Summer Reading Challenge, you look down at your list and find out that you only took off a fourth of the list. Flabbergasted, you quickly rush to the library with your library card in your pocket (or you go with your mom or dad who have a library card) and check-out all the books that you can manage to find that are at the library. You rush home and start reading. You read all the books that you got, and you're about to go to the library to get some more books when your parents remind you that school starts tomorrow. You rush over to the calendar to make sure, and it's right there in bright blue marker ink: School Starts.
Then, you're in the middle of school one day, and your friends introduce you to a new book series. You go look at it on Amazon (or where ever you go and search for books) and find out that this series has more than 5 books. You grab out your long list of books names and your write down ALL of the book names that are in the series. A few days later, the same process happens, but this time, there are more than 12 books in that series (is there a books series that has more than 12 books? I don't know of any...) and you quickly go write all the names down. After a few more process of that, you find out that your list has more books than what it used to have before you started the "Summer Reading Challenge" that summer. This has/hasn't happened to me. Has: Lot of friends suggest these awesome looking/sounding books to me, and my imaginary list of books that I need to read keeps getting longer. Hasn't: I haven't read books off of my list for the "Summer Reading Challenge" and I find out how many books there are in the series as I read the books. I have an imaginary book list (though I should write them down), and the books I want to read are sometimes how-to guides (I like those books). I haven't rushed to the library and get all the books that I have wanted to read that the library has available. If they don't have the book(s) I'm looking for, I just look and find another book that sounds interesting. And there a few more things on the "Hasn't" list, but I don't really want to do those... the "Hasn't" list is already long.. There are a lot of books that I really want to read, but I either don't have the time too or there is some stuff that I need to do. Here are some of the books that I want to read... (I'm just going to do book names...) The Cloak Society trilogy by Jeramey Kraatz I've already read the first book for this trilogy, and I've been wanting to read the other 2 books! I absolutely love the first book and can't wait for what the other 2 have in store! :3 Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger I haven't read any of these books, but I really want to. These books look and sound really good and my oldest sister absolutely love this series! The 4th book (according to Amazon) is coming out on November 3rd, 2015 (if that's what it means by "This title will be released on November 3rd, 2015"). Oracles of Delphi Keep series by Victoria Laurie I was sitting in a library and I found this book, and started reading it while I was waiting. What I read of this book was super amazing!!! But I was reading the reviews on the 3rd book and the book series got cancelled! I'm still going to read the books, though. The Magic Thief series by Sarah Prineas I absolutely LOVE this series!!! I found out a quite a while ago (I think I found out in December) that there was a 4th book to this series and that totally made me freak out. I was happy with the ending of the 3rd book, but she came out with a 4th one! People, if the books you love says series, than there is going to be more than 3 or 4 books. So expect more... I didn't... what so ever. For quite a lot of book series. I can't wait to read the 4th book! Winterling series or trilogy by Sarah Prineas I loved the first book! I can't wait to read the other two books!!! :3 I don't know whether it is a trilogy or a series though. One Amazon source said it was a series, but on her author page (which is on Amazon) she said that it was a trilogy. So I don't know which one it is... sorry. (While looking at those books, I found some more books that looked pretty interesting and found out what their summaries were. I really want to read the books that you are going to read below.) The Accidental Hero (A Jack Blank Adventure) by Matt Myklusch (SERIES) This is the first book in the series and it sounds AMAZING!!! I really want to read this book! Hope the library here has it... Okay, I just went to the library site and I found the book series, but the first book (at the library) isn't called "The Accidental Hero". It's called "Jack Blank and the Imagine Nation". So, which ever one it is, I want to read it! :3 Children of the Red King #1: Midnight for Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo (SERIES) First thing, I love her last name! :3 The way I say her last name is Nemo, so I think her last name is cute. I'm SUPER sorry if I'm saying your last name wrong! I really want to read this book. I SUPER-DUPER want to read this book... here is the summary that Amazon has provided. Amazon Summary for Children of the Red King #1: Midnight for Charlie Bone: A mysterious case, the search for a missing girl, and a legacy of magic... When Charlie Bone discovers that he can hear the conversations of people in photographs, he is shipped off to Bloor's Academy, an elite school for the rich, gifted, and magically endowed. Once there, he realizes that some of his classmates have equally mysterious powers, and Charlie becomes absorbed in uncovering their dangerous secrets. When Bianca and I read that he had the ability to hear the conversations of people, we were all like, "Oh, he's got telepathy." But when we read the photographs part, our minds were completely blown away. Figuratively. Not literally. It sounds like a super awesome book! For the Accidental Hero/Jack Blank and the Imagine Nation and the Children of the Red King #1: Midnight for Charlie Bone, I have NOT read these books. I just found them, read the summaries and thought they sounded cool. What are some of the books that you have on your "I Must Read These" book list? Tell me in the comments! :3

People. If I had a Facebook Account I would LOVE it. (I actually want a Pinterest account more though...) But back to Facebook.
Facebook's abbreviation is 'FB' or 'fb', either one. I'm pretty sure it has over a million people on Facebook and is growing by the day. Everyone becomes addicted to Facebook because of numerous things. Here are some examples:
Those are some examples that I just literally just made up in my head. I honestly doubt they're true... except the second one. My mother did that once. It was pretty funny actually. But back to the point. WHAT WOULD I DO IF I HAD A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT?! Literally what would I do? Well, I'm going to tell you.
Do YOU have a Facebook account? What do you do on it? Tell us in the comments! Thanks! GUYS. IT'S OFFICIALLY THE SECOND DAY OF SPRING. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!
Now we can start planning our Spring Garden parties, going to really good high fashion brands and buying spring outfits, and go meet Robert Downey Jr.! Happy day! :3 Okay! Bianca and I don't do those things... I would LOVE to host a Spring Garden party, I would probably get a Wacom before buying that much designer clothing, and meeting Robert Downey Jr. Would be an AMAZING opportunity. Amazing. But I don't think that's going to happen right now... maybe in 10 years? I don't know. What are you going to do this Spring? Tell us in the comments! Also tell us in the comments which actor/actress you would LOVE to meet in person! Hey Everybody!!! Sorry for not posting stuff while on vacation...I didn't really want to get onto Bianca's computer... :3
Anyways, the first thing is about Teen Author Boot Camp!!!! (Which is going to happen in about 3 weeks for those of you who are wanting to know.) I've figured out all of the classes that I want to do and so has Bianca! We are going to meet each other for 3(?) classes, but other than that, we aren't going to see each other until lunch and the end (excluding when we get there... that doesn't really count). I'm so excited for TABC!!!!! :D So EXCITED!!!! (By the way, for those confused by my wording, we are going to get to TABC, go to separate classes, get together for a class and lunch, separate again, get together again, then - maybe - separate again, then we will meet each other again. But that is ONLY if we get to go to the classes that we want to go to.) So YAY!!! Happiness all around!!!! :3 Okay, for the un-related sadness/hilarity. So we went to see some relatives and I was looking through my grandmother's pantry and saw my favorite type of cookie.... Vanilla Wafers. I wanted to eat them really badly, so I was all like, "I can't believe you have these cookies! I love these cookies!" (After talking a bit more...) My grandmother was like, "Why not you take them home instead?" I replied, "Sure!" I took them out of her pantry and she said, "They're" -meaning the cookies- "a bit old, do you mind stale cookies?" (Bianca was with me so...) We answered," No, we've had stale cookies before." What was going on through my head was that the cookies were a few weeks old and that we were going to take home my favorite cookies. So, on our drive home, Bianca and I were hungry. I instantly thought of the Vanilla Wafer cookies and asked my older sisters if they could give us the Vanilla Wafers. They said that the cookies weren't in the bag on their row, so I remembered that my grandmother put it in the other food bag that we had. I turned around, moved some stuff so that I could get to the cookies, and started reaching for the cookies. I then remembered that she said that they were old, so I wanted to see how old they were. I found the expiration date and saw this... DEC1510 I turned to Bianca and told her the expiration date. And she burst out laughing like crazy. I told Bianca that these cookies expired 5 YEARS AGO! :D Bianca and I burst into laughter as we told our mother and two older sisters at a gas station. Our mom told us not to eat it (who would?) and we laughed for a few minutes more. It was so funny! :D Anyways, tell us in the comments what your favorite cookie is and what you're looking forward to in April!!! Hello World!
We sincerely apologize for not blogging in so long! First, we have been sick with some unknown sickness (we don't know what caused it but we're are all better now) and when we're sick we can't look at the computer screen AT ALL. Next, we went to our nana's house (which takes 18 hours from where we live) and that takes two days, so, we stayed in the car for two days.... Then we had only one day to spend with our Nana before we had to go running on Saturday. We did a race and two years ago we did 9 minutes and 33 seconds for a mile. Then on Saturday we did 7 minutes and 28 seconds. IT WAS AMAZING! I felt so proud that we did 2 minutes less, Charisma was trying to slow down, but (hehehe) I wasn't going to let her. Also we are SO sorry that I haven't been posting in 'My Writing Journey'. I've been just recovering from that sickness and I really didn't want to get on the computer. So yeah..... WE ARE BACK NOW! Thanks! (BTW, I'm not doing the gif any more at the end.) ...Into March!
Yesterday was the 1st day of March!! Can you believe it?! It's March already! And yesterday, we got 533 views! 533!! That's the most we've ever gotten! Before we got all of those views, we had 467 views. :3 So happy! Anyways, as we are in March, the 'Follow Your Inspiration' month has come to a close. Thank you for all those who have participated! :D Hopefully, there are more things like that in the future, but was the 'Follow Your Inspiration' month fun? Please tell us in the comment! We love all of your feedback! Well, skipping past that part, I've been thinking of discussing with Bianca whether or not to change the blogs look/format. What do you all think? I slight think it's time for a change, but I could possible want a change of color but the same layout. What do you all think? Do you think we should completely change - keeping in mind that we are going to do that for every season, do you like the way our blog is, or do you want a different color, but the same format? Please tell us in the comments! ;3 So, we have a busy month ahead, but all in all, there is some exciting news that Bianca shared with you all in her Writing Journey page. I guess I could share mine.... ;P I entered in the 1st Chapter contest for Teen Author Boot Camp! I was so happy! I... I... I'm like so speechless. The feeling of fear and accomplishment is over whelming! The feeling of fear because accomplished authors and such are going to review and really inspect my writing inch by inch. That is so nerve racking! But, I don't really care... slightly. Sigh I should just relax and just go with the flow, huh? Please tell me in the comments if you like writing... and all those other things in the post! |
