Bianca and I were wanting to listen to music this one day and so we looked through our favorites and found "We Are the World" (this was a SUPER long time ago, maybe 3 or 4 years). So we she popped it open and it was on YouTube so there was going to be a commercial. (I think this was before we found out about Viewpure). Anyways, we were about to skip the commercial when we saw this adorable scarecrow.
So we watched it and we started crying.
That ran down our cheeks.
And probably dripped onto the desk.
It was the most beautiful thing Bianca and I had ever seen. We absolutely loved it. So after that day, we searched it on Viewpure and we added it to our favorites.
Here's the video!
ISN'T IT SO SAD BUT BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
There is the beautiful proof that anyone one of us can change this world. Even if it is a small act of kindness, we can do the unbelievable. All we have to do is believe in ourselves and do it with all of our might and strength.
I hope this inspired you all! This post will be under Inspiring Art for the Categories, but this post itself won't be in Inspiring Art. Sure, this isn't art, but it's still awesome.
Please comment to tell us what you think of the video!
While Charisma was looking at Google for different kitty breeds, she found these kitties called 'Exotic Shorthair'. This has got to be the cutest kitty I have ever seen for the whole entire day. I want one SO BADLY. They are so itty bitty and so cute and so small.
Now, I have made an cute short slideshow about these adorable kitties. :3
Have fun! :3
Did you like the kitty pictures? (My favorite one is the last one)
Please tell us in the comments which kitty breed is YOUR favorite!
As you can tell by the title, I'm going to be talking about learning languages and the language I'm learning: Spanish. I love Spanish. I love it when people speak it, how they speak it fluently and I had an instantly great thought. What if I could master Spanish in a week?
Oh how wrong I was to even think of such an idea.... I can read a bit of Spanish now, but I still don't know how to speak it. Rosetta Stone is suppose to help, but yeah... I really don't like it. But that's my opinion. Charisma loves Rosetta Stone but doesn't like Duolingo. I love Duolingo and I don't like Rosetta Stone. Funny, right?
Sometimes I just want to say, 'Let me learn a different language! It'll be easier." Yeah, no it won't be easier. It's going to be the same kind of difficult, but the same kind of fun. (The other language I want to learn is Japanese. For some reason, I feel as if it's going to be a bit harder...)
Okay, now I'm going to give you a bit of Spanish that I've got to learn on a normal basis.
(Spanish is to the left, English is to the right)
¿Qué hora es? = What time is it?
¿A qué hora? = (At) what time?
de la mañana = in the morning
de la tarde = in the afternoon
de la noche = at night
ahora = now
ahora mismo = right now
Es la una = It is one o'clock
A la una = at one o'clock
Son las dos = It is two o'clock
A las dos = at two o'clock
la hora = hour
el minuto = minute
el segundo = second
Buenos dias = Good Morning
Buenas tardes = Good Afternoon
Buenas noches = Good Night
Hola = Hello
Adios = Goodbye
¿Cómo está? = How are you?
Muy bien = Very Good
Me llamo _____ = My name is ________
Mucho gusto = Nice to meet you
Hasta luego = See you later
Nos vemos = See you around
See?! I've got to remember this and keep this entwined in my brain so that I won't forget. And the very sad part about it is that my Spanish course doesn't go over these things until the semester test. (But I'm not using Duolingo or Rosetta Stone.) So, the only way I can remember all of these is to look at my Spanish Notebook. And that's pretty much it.
I'm trying to convince my mother to let me set up a Duolingo account... But I haven't gotten around to that part yet. Yet I shall try! (Huzzah!)
That's all the time I've got for today everybody! Tell me in the comments what language you want to learn or you are learning!
As you can see, Charisma and I have been changing the blog pictures a bit. We wanted the pictures to be our own. So that's the reason why. :3
Thanks and tell us in the comments if you like the new pictures!
WE GET TO PARTY LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!
Hehehe.... just kidding. You've got way more responsibilities when you're thirteen. And trust me, I may sound SUPER crazy, but it's really fun. Anywhooo, since we are 13, we can watch PG-13 movies! YAY!
But, the first PG-13 movie that we wanted to watch wasn't available...
It was Enders Game, which we really, really want to watch! :3 Our mother says it's a really good movie, and that makes us even more excited. And after that movie, we want to watch the Avenger movies, like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Avengers, etc. We can finally watch the 3rd Harry Potter movie (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban). We can also start are slow and heavy ascent to reading Teen/Young Adult books (I want to read the Princess books by Jessica Day George first...). :3
I also can't wait to get a library card! I really want one, but I have no idea when I'm going to get that or if I'm going to get it when I'm 16. It's a huge possibility that we get one when we are 16... But hey! We can try and get it when we're 13 or 14!
Also, with the summer weather coming, we can safely say that we are ready for a new layout! But the one we wanted wasn't our favorite, so we are trying to pick another one. We'll tell you when we are going to change! :3
Tell us in the comments what you are ready to do this summer!
I absolutely LOVED TABC!!!!! I had the best time meeting all those authors and taking notes on those amazing classes! --> Head over to My Writing Journey by Bianca so you can see what classes she took!
I hope that we can go next year!!! I can't wait to find out which Keynote speakers are going to be there next year!! This year it was Brandon Sanderson and Jessica Day George! :D They both are so awesome!!!
I also plan to do Camp NaNoWriMo! <-- Click on Camp NaNoWriMo to get you to the site...
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are all these white words. If you look, the first word on the top line is "About". Click on that to find out more on Camp NaNoWriMo.
I hope I can do Camp NaNoWriMo, and if not this month, then I want to do it in June (it says that at the "About" page)!
Are you excited for anything? Tell us in the comments!
Yup... And we are super-di-duper-di SUPER EXCITED. We are finally turning 13. (We'll actually be a teen... Yes!)
It's like swimming in very cold water on an extremely hot day. *starts dozing off* Okay. *wakes up* That's pretty much it. If you have a birthday coming up in April, tell us in the comments and we'll celebrate it with VIRTUAL CAKE AND CHOCOLATE!! YAAY!
I love Star Wars. It's the coolest thing in thing in the world! The action, the light-sabers, the suspense, the Force, Yoda (you've gotta love Yoda), the Jedi, it's just so awesome! I've watched the 4th, 5th, 6th and 1st movies (we watched them in the order when they came out in the theaters). So yeah! It felt so good to finally see the reaction that Luke had when somebody told him this crazy thing. (I don't want to ruin it for anybody who hasn't seen it yet.) :3
But! There is another wonderfulness to the Star Wars saga! :D
STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!
There first is a movie called Star Wars: The Clone Wars. You watch that, feeling the rush of excitement, then you start watching the show which is also called Star Wars: The Clone Wars. You get a lot of insight in the first movie, but you don't have to watch it to start the show (it makes so much more sense if you do though). Bianca and I didn't watch the movie first and we were wondering where this character from the show came from (trying not to ruin anything). It's all explained in the movie. Bianca and I also thought that the movie fit in somewhere in the show, and not at the beginning. One night, we wanted to watch the movie, so we did and completely freaked out when we realized that it was before the show.
Yup! :3 Anyways, the show is in-between the 2nd movie and 3rd movie for Star Wars. It's before Anakin goes all creepy (3rd movie), but after whatever is in the 2nd movie. :D It's a pretty epic (AND SAD) show.
And then there is a Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie called Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lost Missions. And what's so epic about this is the fact that there is Protocol 66 (bad guys) and I'm guessing (because Bianca and I still haven't seen the movie; we aren't finished with the show) that the Jedi made and thing called Order 66 to stop the Protocol. :3
THEN THERE COMES 2!
This connects with the whole Order 66 thing:
STAR WARS: REBELS
Star Wars: Rebels starts out with a movie, then a show. This show takes you after the Empire totally took everything over. So when Darth Vader is in control. The main character is Ezra and he reminds me a lot of Aladdin. I'll show an extended preview I found on Oh My Disney.
ORIGINAL POST: Star Wars' Newest Show Draw Inspiration from the Franchise's Oldest Art
It's a pretty epic post, you should all check it out. :3
Isn't it totally awesome!! I love it so much!!! I'm so excited to watch it! Bianca and I have already watched 2 episodes, and they were so awesome, but... but... no, I won't ruin it for you. Also, Star Wars: Rebels is set between the events of movie lll and lV, if any of you were wondering.
Go check out Star Wars: The Clone Wars and (if you can catch some episodes) Star Wars: Rebels.
