Hey Everybody!

Today is a CREATE YOUR OWN! So today, I'm going to be talking about one specific person. I've decided to talk about Link from Legend of Zelda! (You've got to admit, he's pretty dreamy)
Picture
So, the wielder of the master sword, holder/protector of the Triforce of Courage, and the savior to Hyrule, Link is a one man army. He's not only has the looks of a hero, he's got the friends, weapons and skills too. (Remember everyone, it's his looks and skills, not just weapons.)
And trust me, it gets better, when he is trying to stop Ganondorf from taking over Hyrule (WEEEELLLL, Ganondorf kind-of already took over Hyrule when seven years passed by, I mean COME ON! Link magically disappeared for seven years and then... BAAMMM! He pops out of nowhere saying, "I shall find you Zelda, and save Hyrule with it." Okay, he literally doesn't say that cause he's kind of a man with no words, but still!)
As Link journey's around Hyrule, he has to do mini quests to get things to help him with his quest (P.S. I'm talking about Ocarina of Time.)
(Now talking about Twilight Princess) Okay, let me be honest. I've never played the game Twilight Princess for Legend of Zelda, but I want to BADLY. I just watched a TON of trailers (commercials?) and they were literally EPIC! I'm not joking, they were SOOO amazing. And now I am asking a bunch of questions in my head and they won't stop. But I do have picutres!
Epic, right? Now don't get confused at picture 1. I would explain why, but I don't want to ruin it for you. Back to what I was saying, Link is AWESOME and EPIC and JUST GREAT OVERALL, so don't judge him. He may not talk a lot (or at all....), BUT HE HIS THE BEST GUY EVER! So far, I don't know anyone else that is 'as cool' or 'cooler' than Link.

What are YOUR opinions on Link? Legend of Zelda? The Game? Tell us in the comments!

Hey Everybody!

Today's topic is favorite authors! So I think my first favorite author would be Shannon Hale.
Picture
I've read Princess Academy from her, and soon I'll be reading Goose Girl, but Princess Academy was AMAZING! (Click here for the book review)
I've seen her video for Teen Author Boot Camp (click here for more information about Teen Author Boot Camp) and it was SO inspiring. I just loved it!

And she's just so awesome. J

My second favorite author would be Maryrose Wood, Author of 'The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place'. I'm only on book four and it's getting so mysterious. I love it.
My third favorite author is Micheal Buckley, author of 'The Sisters Grimm'. It's just so good! And I can name another 3 authors, but that would be take to much time. Sorry!

Who are YOUR favorite authors? Tell me in the comments!

Monday Mayhem: Books You Could Never Live Without

Hey Everybody!

Today's post are books you could NEVER EVER live without. And since this post will be super long, I'll just do two or three books. So the first book is Sister's Grimm: Magic and Other Misdemeanors (You should expect a book review very soon). Any way, this book is a 'To Be Continued...' book and it was a great book! But I wanted to shake Charisma too the ground asking the question 'WHY?!?!'. It was a great book, truly it was, there were just some parts that I couldn't handle.
Picture
Book Summary: When the past and future start mixing with the present, Sabrina and Daphne have their first case to tackle solo—with a little help from the troublemaker Puck. The girls suspect that a rash of magical thefts may be at the root of the problem, but with Mayor Heart’s outrageous taxes to pay and Mr. Canis’s continuing transformation into the Big Bad Wolf, the Grimms have a lot to worry about and not a lot of time to waste. Can Sabrina and Daphne solve the crime and change the future for the better?Fans devour this clever series, which becomes more intriguing with each new book.
Second book is The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
Picture
I cry every time. It's such a beautiful book. Where a bunny loses his owner and sets off on a journey to find what true love means. Here's the Book Summary:
Once, in a house on Egypt Street, there lived a china rabbit named Edward Tulane. The rabbit was very pleased with himself, and for good reason: he was owned by a girl named Abilene, who adored him completely. And then, one day, he was lost... Kate DiCamillo takes us on an extraordinary journey, from the depths of the ocean to the net of a fisherman, from the bedside of an ailing child to the bustling streets of Memphis. Along the way, we are shown a miracle--that even a heart of the most breakable kind can learn to love, to lose, and to love again.
I just love this book. I use to own it before I gave it to my older sister, but I can still read it. I hope I don't cry again.. Anyway, the third book is The Tale of Despereaux. It is such a good book.
Picture
Here's the book summary.
Welcome to the story of Despereaux Tilling, a mouse who is in love with music, stories, and a princess named Pea. It is also the story of a rat called Roscuro, who lives in the darkness and covets a world filled with light. And it is the story of Miggery Sow, a slow-witted serving girl who harbors a simple, impossible wish. These three characters are about to embark on a journey that will lead them down into a horrible dungeon, up into a glittering castle, and, ultimately, into each other's lives. What happens then? As Kate DiCamillo would say: Reader, it is your destiny to find out.
This book is so enticing, it's magical, beautiful, filled with sadness and joy! It yearns to be read, it longs to have readers read it and then re-read it. I loved this book, and I asked my older sister if I could have it, of course she said no, but I can still run up to her and ask if I can read it.  If you haven't read any of these books, you defiantely should.

What books can YOU not live without? Tell me in the comments!

Thanks!

Monday Mayhem by Twisted Two
Hey Everybody!

Today's Monday and that means Monday Mayhem! And today is Favorite Series.

This is the first book in the Books of Beginning Trilogy. It is SOOO good. Like really good, but there were so parts that I was freaking out at because I couldn't believe it was happening. You get insight with the characters and you can feel their pain and joy. It's really cool. (John Stephen you did an amazing job!) Book two was just an intense but with more "OH MY GOODNESS DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?!?!?!?!" And it was a real thriller. I'm truly excited to the third book to come out in March, and I'm not going to spoil any of the books for you. (BTW I cried at the second book... I CRIED MY EYES OUT!!)

Next we have the Books of Elsewhere:

Picture
There are three more books to this amazing and wonderful series, but I haven't read them unfortantley. BUT the two that I have read, (which are above) are the best and coolest, most amazing-est books I have EVER READ. These books are the REAL thriller. Reviews say this:
A must-read fantasy series for fans of Pseudonymous Bosch, Coraline, and Septimus Heap.
I have never read any of the books by Pseudonymous Bosch, I've never read Coraline, and I haven't read books by Septimus Heap. But if they are ANYTHING like The Books of Elsewhere, the I will read them. This books takes you off into ANOTHER WORLD. A world full of adventure, mystery, and unanswered questions. These two books alone, make me curl up in my bed and I COULD NOT put the book down. And if I had to leave off at a chapter, then I would ask so many questions in my head. The questions were taunting me to keep on reading and so I ended up dreaming about the book. And I'm pretty sure I finished it the next day. But if you like mystery and adventure, THESE are the books for you.

Next series, which is beloved by all, the Harry Potter series:
Picture
I couldn't find the other book covers that look like that, so I just decided to do book one. THESE BOOKS ARE AMAZING! They caught my attention very quickly, but sometimes it got just a tad bit boring, but overall this was a fantastic book series. My family is on book 4 together and so far it's so puzzling. But puzzling in a good way, like "what's going to happen next?!" and such.

The LAST but NOT LEAST series is:
Picture
I'm still reading this series (it has like 12 or more books in this series) and it's super good. I cried in this series too. It's was wonderful! And yet terrible all at the same time (I'm talking about the crying... I'm very emotional when it comes to books). But if you like fantasy mixed in with adventure, you will LOVE this series!

What's YOUR favorite series? Percy Jackson? Harry Potter? Tell me in the comments!
