I love to paint. I don't do it often and I don't think I'm good at it, but I still love it. How is that even possible? Well, though I know I'm not the greatest at painting, I admire other people who are spectacular at the skilled art. They know how to deliver every single stroke to make a masterpiece and they know how to take what they see onto paper or a canvas. Those people inspire me so much that I want to paint like them too. Though I know that I won't ever paint like them, it doesn't discourage me. I know that every artists in this whole entire world has a different way to portray their artwork. That's one of the reasons that I don't get let down, I have a unique way to portray my artwork and though it might not be through painting, it's still fun to try. On one particular day, I was reading this blog post on 5 Reasons Why Every Creative Should Have an Instagram. This topic had captured me from the title, so I went on to read it. Later near the end of the post, I discovered this list of creatives that have an Instagram account. I saw one name that particularly intrigued me, so I clicked on her name (along with a few others, but they're for a later time). Today, I'd like to introduce Julia Barminova, a beautiful watercolor painter. Instagram: juliabarminova Julia Barminova does such beautiful paintings that her work inspires me to do my best with my art. That's how the cycle of inspiration works for me. I see one artists that I know they're doing their best with and I try to have that same conviction and love put into my art. Julia does everything with such care and detail, it actually looks like your looking at the real thing. But her artwork is still so unique. You see her style of her artwork. You also get to see the world around you and her with her paintings. It's beautiful how the process of inspiration works. Now what's difficult about the inspiration process it to not get envious. Envy will lead you no where. Use what you've seen to build up stamina and creativity for you to start your own version of the world around you. Use your unique talent to let your unique version of artwork shine through. There's absolutely nothing you can't accomplish in this world. We all have the ability to be our own unique person... So... What inspires you?

That is utterly amazing. Just mind blowing!
She multi-tasked her acting career with her inventing! She managed to get patented, still act, help the world progress in life and technology, and she helped the world by creating Morse code. (That's what I got from the Google Doodle.) That is really awesome. Here's a background from the Google Doodle page: Today on Google’s homepage we’re celebrating Hedy Lamarr, the Austrian-born actress Hollywood once dubbed “the most beautiful woman in the world.” Lamarr’s own story reads like a movie script: bored by the film industry and feeling typecast, Lamarr was more interested in helping the Allied war effort as World War II broke out than in the roles she was being offered. She had some background in military munitions (yes, really), and together with a composer friend, George Antheil, used the principles of how pianos worked (yep, pianos) to identify a way to prevent German submarines from jamming Ally radio signals. The patent for “frequency hopping” Lamarr co-authored laid the groundwork for widely-used technologies like Bluetooth, GPS and wifi that we rely upon daily. Hedy Lamarr's 101st Birthday Isn't that all crazy cool?! I want to show you all this because: 1. I haven't posted here in a long time (last month...) 2. We all have the potential to do something great. And I love the fact that all of this was done by a woman! I thought some guy had done it (but I had never really thought to look it up; I was kind of waiting for my history book to teach it to me). Charisma I was looking for this.... this really weird thing, but anyways, I found an amazing video from that weird search! : Isn't this amazing?! I absolutely loved it! :)
He wonderfully captured every different type of music! This is a great way to show how people have developed and changed music styles over the years... all in one video! :D And one song! All those different versions of Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star are beautiful. I don't think I have a favorite, they're all so good! :) Tell me in the comments which form of music you like best! Charisma Sorry I haven't been posting a lot in here. I don't really know why though. I think I'm going to stop the Disney Weekly Affirmations. If there is an affirmation that inspires me, then I'll include it in that day's post. Well, I've always thought that dancing was a beautiful form of art. This specific type of art is basically about the flow of movement (to me). It's like the body, mind and soul are combined into an effortless form of expression, therefore, making an art that people feel the joy and self-pride of the dancer. - Charisma (<---- Awesome right? I thought of that on the spot. :3) For some it's free-styling, some is choreographing and practicing, while for others it's studying for a long time and mastering all of their techniques. I'm a free-styler, but I want to choreograph a dance with Bianca. Do you all know the geisha? (I'm going to use the Wikipedia definition.) Geisha are traditional Japanese female entertainers who act as hostesses and whose skills include preforming various Japanese arts such as classical music, dance, and games and conversation. According to a video on Discovery Education, all girls who want to be geisha have to train for around 7 years. That is such a long time. And that is amazing dedication. Amazing. Here's some music that I thought would be really great for dancing! :3
Dancing is one of the coolest ways to express art. It's a very beautiful, inspiring, nice, and takes a lot of creativity. I admire everyone who takes the time to dance. For fun or for inspiration or for whatever awesome purpose for why people dance.
Thank you all for dancing and continue to dance! Tell me in the comments if you love to dance! And if you do, what's your favorite song to dance to? Charisma I'm going to be doing the Disney Weekly Affirmations every other week now. I wanted a nice variety of the affirmations and just inspiring blog posts. :) Here is the link: Disney Weekly Affirmation
I super love this quote! I'm always thinking this, but never doing anything! I know, it's horrible, but this just gave me a great boost. Probably the boost I've been looking for. :3 What did you like about this quote? Did it inspire you? Charisma The Manga World Academy (MWA is its acronym) looks like a SUPER cool site! I super want to get an account... Here is a video that shows you what it's about: Doesn't it look cool?! I love how you can use different lectures from across the world to help enhance you drawing abilities. It just seems so awesome! I'm always looking for some way to enhance my drawing abilities and this seems like the place, but it has to run through my parents. It's okay though, I can use the how-to guide books in the meantime. There's also this awesome girl on Deviantart. Her name on there is mintdesu. I super love her work (though I don't have a Deviantart account either. :3) Here is a picture she did in 2010 and re-did in 2015: ISN'T THAT SUPER AMAZING?!?!?!? I want to draw like that.... :( Currently, I cannot. Her re-make of the picture is flawless! It looks so realistic, she has perfect shading, the detail is unbelievable, the hair is just breathtaking, and the overall picture.... unbelievably beautiful! -_- I want to draw like that so badly!!!!!! (mintdesu has also done some speedpaints.)
I'll hopefully post some of my artwork in the near future.... ;3 Well, that's pretty much it! Tell me what you like about World Manga Academy and mintdesu in the comments! Charisma Sword in the Stone Weekly Affirmation
This is a beautiful quote and it's so true. You set your own limits and if you try hard enough, then you'll know what is around that little corner. :3 Charisma
So, I think I'm going to do the affirmations every week on Friday. I think that fits into my schedule well. Anyways, today's affirmation! :D Yay!
Disney Affirmations I love this quote. It's one of my favorites. To me, it's saying that you have the potential to do anything! And like that one thing that Audrey Hepburn said:
True words are being spoken all around!!!! *claps hands* X3
Remember: YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! :3
So I was looking around Oh My Disney trying to find what this one word was. I looked and looked for this one post, and once I found the post, it didn't have the word I was looking for. Defeated, I started to just aimlessly look at Disney posts and I came across a weekly affirmation. I looked at it and it inspired me so much! So I was like, why don't I just do what they used to do and do it once a week! It would be random and be so awesome! :D
Here is the site to all of the affirmations: Disney Affirmations
I like to believe that this is saying all you have to do is persevere and keep on believe that you are able to do what you want to do. I love the background and the font. It's beautiful and inspires me... :3
I'm going to be posting this stuff once a week, just reminding everyone. Now, what inspires you? Tell me in the comments!
Everyone goes through some type of Inspiration Block. You might not know what to write about for a story, or what to draw for your friend, or even what to wear for that date with the person of your dreams! (That last one I just randomly did. I'm to young to date... so that one was for the older people that can date or that are going to prom. Just something along those lines.)
So today, I'm going to put out some Inspirational Quotes from books that I've read or am reading. Some of the quotes I made up, and others happen to be by real people. I hope they lift you up and will inspire you to do something great today!
So how do you like them? I tried to make them look really cool with lots of sparkle, but that it didn't completely over-whelm the original picture. Though for the last one, you can barely see the original picture... sorry about that.
Please tell me in the comments if these helped inspire you today! Also tell me which one you like best! :D |
